Dragon is a mystical creature that probably originally 'invented' in an eastern country, most likely China but I do believe there's a truth in every folklore tale, even it's just a small portion of it. For example the Komodo dragon, a huge lizard that can kill human being with it's tail, if these creatures had wings, we would have real dragons.
Mighty Dragon is a game powered by Gam-O-Mat, this games provider is not as popular as NetEnt, Quickspin and many more but I do believe they will be soon. In the last couple of weeks I've played their games more than I played other games providers. I said this more than once, last year was Habanero I really like but Gam-O-Mat beats Habanero with ease if you ask me, their games are stunningly impressive and Mighty Dragon became one of my favorite.
I think the game has been out there for quite some time but it is still an entertaining game because it's best feature, the expanding wild symbol. The game itself has only 10 paylines and automatically it has a larger payouts but that's what I experienced. In this game you can win up to 5 scatters and max amount scatters pays 100 times bet which not really big compared with NetEnt Dear or Alive but 100 bigger than Butterfly Staxx.
When 3 or more scatters in a form of dragon's eye triggers the free spins feature, unfortunately the amount free spins is fixed to 9 and it cannot be re-triggered during the free spins but that's because of the sticky expanding wild symbol. The wild symbols only appear on reel 2 to 4. You can win big time when the wild symbols appear in the first 3 spins or less.
I have played this game about a dozen times in the past week and I won more than I lose, sometimes you can feel when a game will pay or not. I had to find this the hard way, I lost about €150 within 40 minutes, the game only give me dead spins but it's hard to quit since you've seen it's potential.
I do highly recommend this game and I do believe you'll see that I am right about this game. Gam-O-Mat is the next favorite games provider and I hope they will release more games in the future.
The dragon is a very popular creature, has been used in almost everything you can think of, from tales, to books, to movies, and also to games. There’s already quite a number of dragon-themed games around, by various providers, in various playing variants, yet I have not come across one that has become a favourite. A few games are actually quite interesting to play, but they all lack the strong punches to make a knockout. This Mighty Dragon game from Gamomat is one more such example, having some good punches, but missing out on the powerful knocking out ones.
Typically of Gamomat games, Mighty Dragon plays with 10 lines, with a 10 cents starting bet per spin, and having reasonable win values for the symbols in play. However, the most important symbol, the Dragon Wild, is non-paying, is not a multiplier Wild, but expands into a full Wild Reel whenever it lands on the reels. It is also a Sticky Wild during the free spins, but still not powerful enough for a Wild Dragon, sad to say. The Dragon’s Eye is the Scatter symbol, paying 100x for getting 5 of them, and awards 9 free spins, but without any win multiplier. Why only 9 free spins, not 10 or more? Why no multiplier for the wins? Why no retriggers either since there are no multipliers? These three things alone pulls down what could have been a good game to play!
The most powerful symbol in the game is the Man, either a Warrior or a King, don’t know which is which, but getting 5 of him pays a 250x win. The other symbols pay from 50x down to 10x. Not that good, but at least they are not dreadfully low as in most other current games. For players who are very concerned with beautiful graphics in order to enjoy any game, then this game would certainly disappoint them, as the quality of presentation is rather dated and not striking enough. To others, its gameplay may be exciting enough for regular playing, but the lack of any big winning potentials may eventually take its toll. This is where those important knockout punches are seriously missing!
Well, I’ve already given Mighty Dragon several plays on separate occasions. Sometimes the game plays and pays quite acceptably, but on most other times, the third Dragon’s Eye scatter symbol would frequently fail to appear on the reels, and the game would become boring instead! This Dragon should really learn to give knockout punches with the use of multipliers! Hahaha.
