I quite liked playing the Jackpot Giant slot. This is a life changing game if you manage to land 5 wilds and win the jackpot. From my experience, this is a medium variance game which means you can play it for a while and not lose all your money at once.

Jackpot Giant is 5 reels and 50 pay lines video slot game from Playtech. The graphic design is really nice and the sound effects too. I would suggest you watching the intro movie, at least the first time you play the slot to get the idea what is going on. Except for the jackpot there is a mini game called The Giant Bonus. You need the volcano bonus symbol on the first and the fifth reel to trigger it. Once you trigger the bonus the giant pushes the reels and there are 6 volcanoes from which you need to pick 3 to reveal cash prizes. On my third pick there was written ‘win em all’ which meant I got all the money 20.20. I was really lucky I suppose, but I cannot say that I was happy with the amount that I got.

Like in any other slot, in this one as well there are high value and low value symbols. Some of the symbols that you want to see more on the reels are the different colour gems and kind of like two views of the giant. Both of them appear stacked on the reel, which means that they can cover a whole reel allowing you to win some decent amounts. During the base game I did not win huge. But there were random wins, small wins that kept my balance.

All in all I would say that this is one of those slots that are worth trying not only because of the jackpot but because it offers entertainment and some wins too.

When this game was released about 2 years ago, I didn't pay much attention to it, simply because it wasn't a Marvel Super Heroes Jackpot game. There's only one rule to win the jackpot prize, and that is to get 5 Wilds on payline 1 at the maximum bet of $4 per spin. Any other bet size would not grant the jackpot, but it would win another reduced jackpot prize, depending on the bet size played. Hmm. Considering that the jackpot prize has frequently exceeded the $4 million mark, often reaching $6 million, I would think that $4 per spin would not be unreasonable at all to big jackpot hunters. $4 a spin for me is more like an "eeeee!". Hahaha.

The Wild symbol pays 50,000x the line bet for 5 of them, except when a jackpot prize is won, then this win is not counted in. The Wild symbol does not pay for itself, it does not double any wins with it, it doesn't do anything else, but substitutes for other symbols except for the Bonus and the Scatter symbols. The Hand is the Scatter symbol, paying 500x the total bet for 5 of them, but does not award any Free Spins game. Get the Bonus symbol on reels 1 and 5 and a Bonus game is awarded, whereby you pick out 3 mountains out of 6 to win cash prizes. If you're lucky, you may even get an Extra Pick or a Win-All symbol to win all hidden prizes from one of the mountains. I have gotten the Extra Pick symbol before, and I have also gotten the Win-All symbol too, but none of my wins ever exceeded the 100x total bet amount, simply due to the very low paytable.
