The era that we are living now has nothing to do with the Golden Era of this game. The only inspiration that I could think of is the movies, which is pretty much popular, and I believe Microgaming thought it would be a good business decision to attract players via something already famous, don't you agree? But each time you come across such a video slot, you must pay close attention to the game's pay table and its capabilities.

My thought is, why not invest your money while you enjoy spinning a game. It's worth anyway, because you better put your money into a slot that can make your day within seconds, no matter whether your total bets are small or bigger. This Golden Era looks like a true oldie game, with its theme going back to the past, making it look and feel like it was at least a century ago.

The Wild symbol, which is the logo 'Golden Era', pays 333x your total bet if you manage to collect 'five of a kind'. Sounds pretty nice to me, but never easy to get. The Wild symbol becomes an Expanding Wild Reel during the Free Spins game and you get nice chances to make more wins. The Scatters pays 100x the total bet. 3 or more of these scatters activate a Bonus feature game. You can choose the 'Double Feature Bonus Game' or the 'Free Spins with Embracing Wild game'.In the Embracing Wild free spins game, all wins are doubled when the two moving Expanding Wild Reels embraced on reel 3, making for some pretty decent payouts, but usually not big enough in my opinion.

For an oldie game, the pay table is pretty decent, but I would rather prefer something new to play if I really have to choose. The only time I played this game was with some free spins and I couldn't resist to try it out later in the real mode with my own money. But I don't think I like it that much to come back and play it again.

The Golden Era of the movies, taking you back many years, back to the days when we were probably still kids, or even unborn yet for some. A time when seeing movies was a novelty, watching them an innovative delight, seen purely in just black and white images in the beginning, then into beautiful coloured moving images on the screen. Today's movies have advanced so dramatically, so innovatively, so creatively and even so unbelievably, that whatever fictionary images you see can be so realistically envisioned. A time when fiction and reality merges into one. A time when realistic 3D holographic images becomes the norm, when laser projections transforms everything that we can see - the unreal becomes so real, the real becomes so dull! Can we all be ready for this? Who knows!

But enough of the futuristic envisioning, because the Golden Era is calling. The logo itself, 'Golden Era', is the Wild symbol, paying a nice 333x the total bet for 5 of them, but doesn't do anything else except to substitute for other symbols, except for the Scatter symbol. However, this Wild becomes an Expanded Wild Reel on two reels during the Free Spins game, merging into one Wild Reel on reel 3, doubling all wins with it. Hmm, that covers a bit for its other shortcomings. The Clipboard is the Scatter symbol, paying the usual 100x the total bet, and getting 3, 4 or 5 of these symbols activate the Bonus Selection feature game. The other symbols in the game pay from 66x the total bet down to 6.6x the total bet for 5 of each kind, which is not too bad. I would say this is quite a good paytable.

Whenever a Bonus Selection feature game has been activated, 2 choices of games are offered - a Free Spins with Embracing Wilds game or a Double Feature Bonus game, both cannot be retriggered. Free Spins with Embracing Wilds - The first free spin starts with an Expanded Wild Reel on both reels 1 and 5. With each free spin, the Expanded Wild Reels shift towards the center, finally merging into one Expanded Wild Reel on reel 3 and doubling all wins with it. The single Expanded Wild Reels do not double any wins. The Double Feature Bonus game - pick up to 10 Movie Posters to win prizes. Some posters have a 2x multiplier included and getting the Boxing Gloves symbol ends the pick.

For an old game, Golden Era still plays and pays quite well. The base game isn't that exciting, as can be expected, and the fun only begins with either one of the 2 feature games. Honestly speaking, I cannot say for certain which of the two I would prefer more. Both have paid me decently, and both didn't too, but generally, both games can pay out nicely. My previous wins ranged around the 40x - 50x my total bet amount, which is quite good, with the occasional higher wins of almost up to 100x. With the paytable, much higher wins are definitely possible, but I haven't got enough plays to be certain of this. The 5 Wilds alone would pay 333x the total bet amount, and if won with the Embracing Wild Reel in the Free Spins game, this would be 666x the total bet amount, not including the other winning combinations within that spin, so a 700x bet win may be possible.

Golden Era is a slot that celebrates a period that stretched over 4 decades. This is a 5 reel slot with 15 pay lines. The main theme of this slot is the film stars together with the film making. The payouts are not that bad in this slot and it comes with a variety of bonus rounds. This makes the slot very appealing to the players. I have to say that I have played this game only once but there is a great chance that I will play it again.

The symbols are made especially for this slot and they include some cinema tickets, Walk of Fame hand prints, a film reel, a camera, a golden award, a luxury car and five characters from that period and the Lady in violet reminds me a lot of Mrs Marple, but I cannot say for sure if this is she or not.

The wild in this game is the Golden Era logo and the scatter is the clapper board. For three scatter symbols you activate the bonus and you will have to choose between some free spins and the Double Feature bonus. If you choose the free spins you will get 12 of them. But the fun does not stop here. On the first spin the leading actor will turn the first reel into a wild and the actress will do the same with the last reel. In the next spin they will move to the second and the fourth reel and in the third spin they will both move to the third reel. When the wilds are on the third reel all your wins during that spin will be multiplied by 2. The Double Feature bonus is also interesting. You will have 10 movie posters and you can pick as many until you open the ‘Pop’ logo. At this point the round ends. During this round you can also find a multiplier.

I have never liked 15 liners, especially from this Microgaming software, but must admit I totally changed my mind, when it comes to this specific game. I think Golden Era is launched this year but I didn't try it at the beginning, but few months ago and have to say I have enjoyed playing this slot game. Golden Era is a 5 reel with 15 pay lines video slot, so for my taste it has super graphics, with nice colors and symbols too. I have always liked movies from that time and I think we are talking about the 40's with all this famous actors and actress, the movie stars all wrapped up in Hollywood glamour.

This game, don’t know why it so reminds me of the Riviera Riches slot and that's a game from same software even contains the similar symbols exactly with 15 lines, but I guess in the bonus game they differ. There is a free spins on this game but also offers a onus round, must say I much prefer the free spins feature because my opinion is that from the free spins round the player has much more chances to win something bigger.

The Golden Era logo is the wild symbol on this game, so as we know, it will substitute all the symbols on the reels. Except from the scatters, making winning combination. The free spins or the scatter symbol is the Movie Clipboard with the Golden Era logo on it, so triggering 3 of them will award you with 12 free spins which are multiplied X 2. The good thing about the free spins or the wilds on it, when they appear from the reel 2 and four, but you’ll see them moving, helping you to make some winning combination and the bad news is that the free spins feature on this game can’t be re triggered.

I am playing this game from time to time, especially if I have low bankroll and from 15 liners slots from this software, Golden Era and Riviera Riches would be my favorites, even they low to medium payout games, still can win some decent money. I do recommend this game, because I think if you have bonus attached which needs to be wagered, this game is great for it, good luck!

Golden Era is one of the latest Microgaming slot games. The game comes with 5 reels and 15 pay-lines. The number of pay-lines is fixed at 15 and can’t be changed. Personally, it does not matter because I always play with a maximum number of pay-lines.

Hollywood and the golden age of American film are selected as the theme for this slot. Symbols that are representing celebrities, glamor, symbols associated with the film industry, bright lights all over the place, gave this game a special look. In general I really like the look and the design of the game. The Microgaming once again did a good job.

It's time to try the Golden Era slot. The start was good, the first spin and immediately a big win. I won more than 5 euros on my bet of 0.3 euros. The excitement and the expectations of the game were growing. I felt inside that I’ll have a lot of success here. In the next 5-6 minutes I did not have any greater wins, then, three scatter symbols and a bonus game. It is interesting that here you have the opportunity to choose between the free spins and double feature bonus. I chose the second one. In the double feature bonus you click on the movie posters. Only 4 euros I won in this bonus. I was sorry for that I did not choose the free spins, but it does not matter. I was determined to continue to play until I get 3 Scatter symbols again and the possibility to choose one of these two bonuses. To the option to choose the free spins I came a little later. Of course, this time I have selected 12 free spins. In the 12 free spins I won about 15 euros. Ah, that's much better.

Golden Era is a game that I liked. The theme, the design and everything else, on every detail Microgaming has spent a lot of attention. I also think that the Golden Era has the potential to pay good although I did not found the information for RTP percentage.

Golden Era is game powered by Microgaming software. It has 5 reels and 15 paylines. The minimum bet is 0,15€. First time I played Golden era at GoWild casino. I played it instant mode of casino. I think that I wouldn't found it on downloaded software of casino. After I hit some big win in casino on other games, I was looking for new game. At the beginning of the website page I found this one and I am happy to try it out.

When you get at least 3 scatter symbols, it starts bonus selection. You can choose between 12 free spins with embracing wilds or double feature bonus. 5 scatters pay really high, at minimum bet of 0.15€ pays 900€.

When I played it, I didn't get more than 3 scatters. My balance at that time was over 300€ so I decided to play it on higher bet. I set 0,45€ bet per spin. I got that night at least 4 times bonus selection. The first time when I got it, I chose double feature bonus. Here you have to choose movie posters and behind the posters are prizes. I didn't have much luck after two picks, I ended the future. This is because behind one poster is game over symbol. When I enter the second I chose 12 free spins. I prefer free spins rather as double feature bonus. Free spins gave me more money than double feature bonus. So every time I get, I chose free spins. I think double feature bonus is also great, sometimes I could win more than from free spins, but I can't choose right posters so for me are better free spins. This is one of my favorite game and I give it a chance every time I play at Microgaming casino. I almost forgot to write... I love the music during free spins.

Microgaming’s Golden Era slot is dedicated to Hollywood and the early ages of moving pictures history and even if I don’t really sympathize with this epoch I still find the appearance of the game is very great. It’s one of the visual work which has the ability to fantastically represent its theme and create a very authentic and original atmosphere. Of course it couldn’t be possible without great graphics and expressive symbols and fortunately the game got all the tools what it needed to be very impressive. I love the old-fashioned characters, actors, divas, photographer and the other ones like cinema ticket, film reel, camera, automobile and the decorative motives, the theatre curtains in the background or the solid gold colours all over the screen all express their great pictorial effects and the entire screen is a very captivating, inspiring, stylish and sophisticated at the same time so for my part I really appreciate this high quality visual world what Microgaming presents.

This fixed 15-payline video slot offers some very great features and generally can be said about the game it’s a fairly working product. The great looking Golden Era symbols which is working as Wild is one of the most coveted icon as it offers the best prize what a 5 of a kind win can do, which is 5000 coins (but when it’s substituting it can’t multiply wins) while the other one of course is the Scatter which can reward us up to 100 times of total bet and takes the responsibility to trigger side game.

We have to collect 3 or more Movie Flapper emblems anywhere on the reels during normal game mode to have a chance to choose our preferred feature which can be 12 free spins or bonus game. Free spins are very great and they are played with Embracing Wilds which means the first spin is played with the first and last reels turned into Wilds, at the next spin all 3 positions on the second and fourth reels filled up with Wilds and the third spin is working along with just one Wild reel at the middle but this time the Wilds bring a x 2 win multiplier value to the table.

Selecting the Cinema Bonus round we’re carried over to a well-designed secondary screen where we can see 10 film posters and we have to pick from them until one of them ends the side game. Every movie poster reveals instant cash prizes while one hides an x 2 multiplier value and if it’s chosen all other collecting prizes will be doubled.

Perhaps there was a little fear in me that this great atmosphere and the used pictorial solutions how could collaborate with the modern game elements features and bonuses but Microgaming solved this question very smartly and I never feel that any of them would be unfitting or improper components. Anyway, maybe the base game could be a little bit more rewarding but it’s not a major issue here. From the features I always chose the free spin option because no matter how good looking the secondary screen of bonus feature but from moneywise standpoint it’s not too remunerative while the free spins occasionally really can surprise me with its open-handed attitude. Of course when 6 out of 15 symbols are Wilds on the reels there’s a great chance to collects some nice wins and even 5 of a kind ones and usually the extra games are quite profitable and it’s not rare when I can collect more than x 40-x 50 with a session.

Overall, I’m very impressed by the work of Microgaming made with this slot. I really think it’s one of the most complex and detailed slots they ever made and it not just fantastic looking one but also possesses very decent game qualities and so far I never experienced any real shortcomings or things that I would really don’t like here. Naturally, if someone seek for action rich slot this product definitely won’t live up to that expectations but if someone would like to play with a reliable, solid slot which offers a very specific and imposing atmosphere, well, I think this slot possesses all the ability to be the appropriate product which meets these requirements. Personally, I like this slot a lot and encourage other players to try this game.

Golden Era is the newest slot game from Microgaming family. It was released only this month, right around Oscars' time and as a fan of Microgaming I was eager to try it. When I first saw it, I was blown away by its design - it has Oscar theme with cinematic features, 2 bonus rounds - one of them is a bonus and other is free spins round. It has 5 reels and 15 paylines and the minimum bet you can place is 0.15€ per spin.

First and so far only time I played Golden Era at Vegas Country casino. I had taken a welcome bonus and I had 40€ balance. I played a little risky, with 0.45€ bets per spin. After about 30 spins I won a bonus round. Here I sense something in common with Count Spectacular slot - you can choose which of the two bonuses you want. When you get 3 or more scatters on wherever on the reel, you will have two bonus options - Double feature bonus or 12 free spins with embracing wilds. At Double feature bonus there will be a wheel and you'll have to spin it to choose your movies. You'll make picks with coin wins until you get the end symbol hidden under one of the movies. But the free spins are very exciting as well. At the start of free game there will be expanding wilds on 1st and 5th reel. With each spin they will move to the middle until they meet on 3rd reel and give you doubled multiplier, then they go back and so it happens again.

As I said, at my session at Vegas country casino I experienced both bonuses. The Double feature bonus gave me around 15x bet winnings. Later I got my first free spins too and they paid me little less than 100x bet. I played this game for couple of hours, within 100 spins I got at least 1 bonus round and I chose to play only free spins because they were more generous. This game helped me to meet wagering and make nice profit.

I think that Microgaming has done a great job with this game. It has free spins, bonus and great design. And comparing to other Microgaming games, it didn't eat my balance right away like Immortal Romance would. I definitely recommend this game, it is worth trying. I would rate it 9/10.

After a little research on other platforms will be back on this for me a new slot that I first noticed at Casino La Vida but it never played. After some minor bet per spin came the order and retail greater role so I took € 3 per spin, at the beginning of immediately taking up auto-play of 10 spins after which my opening balance of € 150 at Nostalgia Casino increased to € 167. This was reason enough to pick more additional ten automatic spins.

After an additional spins got another € 18 so I'm a little increased its budget. Then I decided to cut my bet per spin to € 1.50 and I put autoplay at 25x. As far as the Wild symbol here is that Golden Era symbol that I received most often combined with symbol photographer who I was in one spin brought a gain of € 13 it was about half the auto-play games. For me the only drawback in this game is maybe only 15 payment lines as the current slot machine possesses.

The last auto-play ended up with € - 11.5 so I'm a little reduced its profit testing this slot. I moved later to another casino exactly on the Red Flush Casino where I reopened this slot in order to able to open the bonus game or not we succeeded so I'm with Red Flush Casino went with an additional € -8 so I'm not sure true that the total profit was in the game at the Golden Era slot but it is definitely positive.

The sound of the slot is a stylish and fully compatible with the time of golden era, when it comes to games here I think I'll be coming back again probably with some of Microgaming casinos that I played a little less because my practice is that in as many casinos do at least one deposit and so I leave the real possibility that when the next promotion, and my account is rewarded with some free bonus. Beautifully designed slot in accordance with the theme, but nothing special to now there was something enchanted, but not bad.

Golden Era is a slot brought to us by Microgaming and it has 5 reel and 15 paylines. The theme of the slot is already in it's name and it brings us to the good old times where everything seemed to be simpler and people enjoyed and appreciated their lives way more then we do know thanks to all the technology that surrounds us.

I played this slot at 0.30$ but the minimum bet that can be placed is 0.15$. This slot has a wild symbol that substitutes for all symbols except scatter but to me it wasn't really helpful so much, since it somehow seemed to rarely appear or when it appeared it was in the wrong place. Also we have a scatter that when it's triggered you get two selections and those are: free spins with embracing wilds and double feature bonus. I had a hard time triggering these features it took me at least 250 FS+ but once I did get it I first choose the double feature bonus. In this feature you have 10 classic movie posters in front of you with cash prizes and a 2x multiplier and of course one of those posters ends the feature like usual. After I was done with the feature I got 7$ out of it. So I continued playing this game since I was eager to hit those scatters again and try out the other feature but unfortunately it wasn't my lucky day since after 100 spins my balance was reduced to zero and I still didn't manage to trigger FS.

Overall I was very disappointed with the out come of this play I really expected something else from this slot but it turned out to be a very time consuming and really hard game that has no problem taking your money. Honestly I won't be coming back to play it again, 6/10.
