Whenever I see a BetSoft game, I get attracted to its beautiful graphics and animations, but that's all that BetSoft games could ever do for me, or to me. At one time, I did put a lot of faith, and plays, into one of BetSoft's game, namely Fruit Zen, because I had some very good wins on that game when it was still 'hot' from the oven, but has since gone damn cold! From a good game, it soon got an 'upgrade', and was never the same ever again. Nowadays, I can only have a cold heart for any of BetSoft's games, and I've yet to find one game that I can really enjoy as I did with Fruit Zen. Nope, this Gold Diggers game couldn't do that either.
BetSoft games tend to play with 30 paylines, for one reason or another, and I have always wondered why BetSoft wasn't into creating games with 243 ways-to-win, as this format has proven to be very popular with players. Personally, I too don't like 30-paylines games, when they could do better with just 25 paylines. BetSoft is being a tad too greedy perhaps? Hehehe. This Gold Diggers game plays without any Wild symbols, argh! So many of their games are like that, and I really cannot figure out the reasons why. The Dynamite is the Scatter symbol, paying 200x the line bet for getting 5 of them, and getting 3 or more Dynamites on any active payline triggers a 'Drop-down' feature, whereby the Dynamite symbols would explode, disappears from the reels, and new symbols would drop down to replace them. What a damn lousy feature to replace the usual Free Spins game! Sheesh!
The Poster is a Bonus symbol, a dumb symbol for not paying anything for itself, but getting 3 or more of them on any active payline triggers a Bonus game. Pick 3 spots to dig for gold and win cash prizes. Need I say that the prizes are damn low?! You'd be damn lucky if you can get wins of more than 10x the bet amount! The Gopher is also another Bonus symbol, paying a useless 30x the line bet for getting 5 of them, and getting 3 or more Gophers on any active payline in winning combinations, triggers 'Gopher's A Dig' Click Me feature. Pick those Click Me icons to win prizes, but don't be surprised if the prizes are even smaller! As for the other symbols in the game, the Fat Man pays 500x, the Skinny Man pays 400x, the Lady pays 300x, and the rest pay from 150x to 50x, all per line bet for getting 5 of each kind. A very low paytable, just escaping being an extremely low one!
What would anyone say or think if the wins from the various feature games were all below 10x the total bet amount? In one game, it was almost a zero win! With no Wild symbols, with no Free Spins game, with 3 or more Scatters triggering a practically worthless 'Drop-down' feature, and with win values that can hardly provide any decent payouts, this Gold Diggers game is really a big flop!
