Get Rocked

Well, with what is shown on screen, this game, Get Rocked, does look interesting at first sight, and does compel any player to give it a try, much like Guns N Roses did to god knows how many players out there in the gambling world. I was one of them, I won't deny that, but Guns N Roses did not fail expectations. It looks good, it plays good and pays quite good too. But this Get Rocked game is of a much older variety, so the graphics, sound and animations may not be as good as Guns N Roses, but let's see how it can compare nonetheless.

Presentation wise, the background scenario does look good and vibrant enough, but the actual icons themselves could do with better graphics, although they are not too bad as they are now. The Singer is the Wild symbol, paying 5000x the line bet for 5 of him, substitutes for other symbols, and that's about it. Yeah, a true blue dumb Wild symbol, and there seems to be quite a lot of such dumb symbols in games everywhere, both in new and old games. Why this is preferred, I really don't know. The Band is the Scatter symbol, paying 200x the total bet for 5 of them, and getting 3, 4 or 5 of them trigger 10, 15 or 20 free spins with all wins tripled. More Free Spins game can be retriggered, or so it says. The Guitarist pays 2000x the line bet, whilst all the lower symbols pay from 1000x down to 100x the line bet for 5 of each kind. An average paytable.

Getting the Wild symbol on both reels 2 and 4 at the same time, triggers the Solo Pick And Win bonus game, whereby you pick one of the band members to win a cash reward. How much this feature can pay out, I wouldn't know for sure because there aren't any indication at all. The ones that I got were all below 10x the total bet amount, and that sucked! The 10 free spins game, with its 3x multiplier, should give some nice decent payouts, but it didn't for me. Even the 15 free spins could not live up to my expectations. With only one Free Spins game won so far, but that game paid me a blardy low win of just 10x the total bet. So, where in the world did all those big wins go? Only Microgaming knows!

The paytable may be average in terms of its payout possibilities, but the actual gameplay failed to live up to it. For me in particular, the Pick And Win bonus games paid miserably with its 7x and 5x total bet wins. The 10 free spins with its 3x multiplier couldn't do any better either, coughing out a miserly 10x the total bet win. Hmm. Maybe this game needs a more appropriate title, like Get Rocked Dead for example. That would suit the game quite nicely. Hahaha.

Get Rocked game is powered by microgaming. Not to my taste to be honest and I can tell you straight away that I will never recommend it.

There are 30 lines in this game and it has two features. There is a free spins feature and solo pick and win bonus. To get the free spins I had to get three or more stage symbols anywhere on the reels. The more symbols you get the more free spins you will have. You can get up to 20 free spins with all wins tripled. I never had the pleasure to get more than 10 spins and don’t think I ever would. I play this game on €0.30 or €0.60 and have never won more than €20 on this feature. Most of the free spins will have a tiny win or no win at all. The free spins can be retriggered but I never managed, in fact it is very hard for me to get the stage symbol.

The other feature is the solo pick and win bonus. To get that I had to get two musicians on the second and fourth reels. Basically you have to pick a musician and he plays a tune for which you are awarded. Never got more than €10 on this bonus.

Over all I had really bad experience with this game and lost good amount of money. The graphics are not bad and the sound effects are nice but I cant win a decent amount of money. Maybe some of you guys had great time with this game but I did not. So if I was to rate it I would give it 4 out of 10. Hope you enjoyed my review and have a nice day:)
