We know Geisha is a very popular class of Japanese female artists or entertainers! And Today by Far I think it’s my top 3 favorite Endorphina slot. I would honestly play this slot more these days, however, the gambling monthly budget being so low and finding the time to gamble makes it very hard to play this slot. Why? Because on average it takes around 250 – 500 spins to trigger the free spins feature. I once went over 800 spins to find a free spins feature.

Those lucrative Japanese ladies are very active on the reels but hardly fall in winning combinations, but the lower value symbols fall a lot of pay lines. I use this game mostly to kill bonus wagering. A few days ago, I did around 10 zar bets and it took me 412 spins to trigger my first feature. I had about 9100 zar, placing 10 zar bets I was down to 8276 zar, which means I only lost around 850 zar which is good for an Endorphina slot.

Well, the bonus did not play as well as I expected, as I used to get the average x200 wins, in general, many years back, and once managed to get an x500 wins. Geisha would not normally deliver your typical 1000x wins, and I am not sure why not.

Those Geisha Jokers with possible 2x, and 3x multipliers help with big wins and I love the fact that they are guaranteed. The old-school typical 25 pay line structure is best for this slot, unlike how it is these days, with weird paying ways for 20 and 25 pay line slots.

I hate the fact that they modified the slot with the bonus scatters that stop the reels when 2 land, in search of the 3rd one. I like that even when 2 landed the reels spin normally and do not hold a single reel, while it spins around and around looking for that scatter.

I see the bonus pop feature has been added, but I doubt I will buy the bonus on this slot.

Overall, a great slot and great game design with extremely high volatility!

There aren't many of Geisha-themed slots around, although there are many that has a Japanese theme, like Cherry Blossoms, for example. Geisha Story, from Playtech, is the closest resemblance to this Geisha game from Endorphina, having the Geisha as the main character in the game. Oddly enough, even the symbols in the two games are very similar, like the Koi fish, the Japanese sandals, the Gateway, the Umbrella, the Paper Fan and whatnots. Could this Geisha game have originated from the old Geisha Story game? It looks like it, but I guess only Endorphina knows better.

That aside, I must say that I like the look of this Geisha game very much. It looks cool and beautiful, yet those Geishas look vibrant enough in their very nice colourful Kimonos. The background of the play area may look plain white, but it actually reflects the rice-paper fabric so abundantly used in traditional Japan. As for the Geisha icons themselves, aah, a reflection of the true Geishas, beautiful and very elegant. Personally, this Geisha game is the most beautiful Geisha-themed game I have ever come across. Well done Endorphina! The game has been accurately presented and in a most pleasing manner too.

The Koi fish is the Wild symbol, paying 40x the total bet for 5 of them, and substitutes other symbols except the Scatter symbol. Sadly, it doesn't double any wins, or become stacked or expanded, so is a dumb Wild symbol in my books. The Gazebo is the Scatter symbol, paying 200x the total bet for 5 of them, and getting 3 or more of these Gazebos trigger 10 free spins with random 2 Wild Reels of Expanded Geisha for every spin. All wins with the Yellow Kimono Geisha pays 1x, the Blue Kimono Geisha pays 2x and the Green Kimono Geisha pays 3x. The Free Spins game can be retriggered. Would have loved it if the Free Spins game has 15 free spins instead of just 10, or alternatively, have the multipliers in 3x, 4x and 5x. That would have made more sense.

In the base game, the Geishas are just normal symbols, not Wild symbols as during the Free Spins game. The Green Kimono Geisha (yellow background) pays 32x the total bet, both the other 2 Geishas pay 24x, the Umbrella and the Paper Fan both pay 20x, and the others pay from 8x to 4x, all per total bet amount for 5 of each kind. Well, I was expecting a better paytable for this beautiful game, but nope, Endorphina thinks otherwise. They prefer it to have a low paytable instead. Too bad.
