This Gates Of Persia game by Gamomat is one more game that can be played on either 10, 20 or 30 lines, with a corresponding starting bet of either 10, 20 or 30 cents per spin. I like the selectable number of paylines, but the win values of all the symbols in this game are of the very low kind, which I don’t quite like. Nonetheless, I decided to try out the game with 20 lines, but now I’m thinking I should have stuck with just 10 paylines instead! The payouts that I’ve gotten from the game have been quite horribly low!

Queen Semiramis is the Stacked Wild symbol, with a very low payout of just 50x the bet for any 5 of her. The Blue Gates is the Scatter symbol, also with a very low 50x payout, whilst the other symbols pay from 12.5x down to 1.25x. Not good values at all! Getting all 15 symbols of the Queen would pay a maximum single win of 1500x, but getting this win is another story altogether, simply because the winning symbols are not the scattering kind as in a ‘Book’ game. Gates Of Persia is simply a standard game.

Besides the very poor paytable, I also dislike the absence of win multipliers. The Wild symbol should have a doubling of wins, and the free spins should have at least a fixed x3 or x5 win multiplier, because only 7 free spins would be awarded each time, regardless of getting 3, 4 or 5 triggering Scatter symbols. Worst still, no retriggers are possible. Sheesh! If those 7 free spins don’t give you lots of same symbols on the reels, then there won’t be any good wins at all, not even any decent wins in fact! The best win I’ve gotten was only 60x, with 13 same symbols on the reels, so imagine the kind of payouts this game would give!

Honestly speaking, Gates Of Persia is not good in almost every sense of a game. The paytable is a very low one, you get only 7 free spins when triggered, with no extra free spins possibility, and completely no win multipliers at all. The 3 Scatter symbols are very hard to get, and the base game play is rather boring, so avoid playing this game, unless you only want to try it out.
