How to Play Folsom Prison Slot?

Slot Features
The base game will start with the 2 middle rows on the first 4 reels as active area while the other position will be locked, but they will unlock in the bonus modes. Whenever a Wild, Scatter, xSplit or xWays lands on one of the open positions it will open up the closes locked position above and below the respective reel.
Scatter & Wilds
There are 2 Wild symbols in the game one is regular Wild and the other is the Cockroach Nest Wild. They can land on all the reels except reel 1, and it can substitute for any paying symbol in the game.
Scatter can only land on two middle rows on reels 2 to 5 in the base game, and only on reel 5 in the Walk the Line bonus. Landing 2 Scatters in the base game will open up the middle 2 rows on reel 5, and they will transform into one of the following xWays, xSplit, Wild or Cockroach Nest.
Walk the Line
Landing 3 Scatter symbols in the base game will trigger the feature and award 8+ spins. Any Scatter affected by xSplits will award 1 added spin. Landing a Scatter in Walk the Line spins will award 2 added spins and upgrade any further Walk the Line spins into Chair Spins. Each spin starts with the centre rows open and a minimum of 1 guaranteed Cockroach.
The Chair
Landing 4 Scatters in the base game will trigger the Chair spins and award 8+ spins. Any Scatter that is affected with xSplits will award 1 extra spin, and each spin will start with the centre 4-4-4-4-4 rows open and a minimum 3 guaranteed Cockroaches.
Cockroach
Cockroaches can go anywhere in Folsom but their nests will always spawn in the open positions on the 3 middle reels or transformed from Scatter, and any locked cells they go will open up. A Cockroach has a starting position that is replaced by a Wild, after which it will walk above the reels adding its multiplier to any symbol it passes on that way.
In Bonus modes, the reels may land a Cockroach Nest symbol. It is inactive until a Cockroach walks on it, the Cockroach will also upgrade its multiplier to the next level till the feature ends. Cockroach upgrade can happen up to a max of 3 times, and multiplier levels are 1, 2, 3 and 10. If it holds 2 eggs, it will upgrade a Cockroach one level but also clone one more till the feature ends, and this can happen only once per bonus.
xWays and xSplit
xWays can appear anywhere, and these symbols will transform into a normal paying symbol. It will reveal between 2 and 4 symbols of the same kind and increase the number of win ways. The xWays symbols will open 1 symbol above and 1 below on the same reel.
xSplit symbols may appear on the central 2 rows on reels 2 through 5. An entire row of symbols will split if xSplit symbols land on it, and it will double the number of pay ways.
Summary
Folsom Prison is a weird theme to choose for the slot, but we’ve kind of used to seeing Nolimit City choosing unusual themes, and that’s what makes them stand out. The design is very bleak with a heavy atmosphere that really feels like you’ve hit the bottom. Although the game does not have a breathtaking looks or theme, its max payout is capped at a staggering x75000 the bet, which surely is attention-grabbing.
I like the nice graphics that align with the theme of prison. The minimum bet is affordable - 0.2. There is the free spins round that is triggered quite often.
However, I haven't got any prominent wins yet. Maybe, it's because I haven't spent much on the slot, so I will see... Sometimes, it's loading slower than expected on my mobile (maybe it's due to my internet connection, I'm not sure)
