Fish Party Slot Microgaming

Fish Party Slot is a 243-payline video slot with 5 reels, powered by well-known Microgaming software platform. Inspired by the life under the sea, the game features beautifully designed symbols with entertaining music and sound effects. The reels are transparent and set against the aquarium backdrop. Spin Fish Party Slot for free, or visit any of the listed Microgaming Casinos to play for real money.

Before you dive under the sea, you are advised to regulate your bets first. By clicking on the “Bet” button, you will reveal the “Coins” and the “Coin size” option. The coin value ranges from 0.01 to 0.05, while the number of “Coins” varies from 1 to 10. “Autoplay” enables reels to turn without interruption for a chosen number of times, whereas “Spin” starts the game.

Fish Party symbol is the game’s Wild. It acts as a replacement for every symbol, but the Scatter. The Scatter is the Seashell. Once players land 3 or more Scatters anywhere on the reels, up to 20 Free Spin will be activated. Free Spins feature may as well be retriggered.

The Treasure Chest, Blue Fish, Yellow Fish, and Purple Fish are the Expanding Wild symbols and any of them may occur and expand on reel 3. The Expanding Wilds occur only during the Free Spin rounds and increase players’ winning potential.

Any winning combination triggers the Gamble feature. Players can play the feature or skip it and continue playing the regular game. If you choose to play the Gamble feature, you need to guess the colour of the card to double your winning amount, or guess the suit to quadruple your winnings. If you make a wrong guess, the feature will end and you will be returned to the base game.

When I think of water party, or fish party, or any party that has water in it, my mind rushes over to Aqua. Not the water aqua, but the singing band Aqua. What comes to my mind is none other than their lively jively party song entitled Barbie Girl. "Come on Barbie, let's go party...ooo, ooo, ooo, ooo...". Well, the lyrics of that song do suggest a lot more kinds of fun, but let's just stick to the wet kind here, err, better make that the watery kind, or better still, just the fish kind. Forget about that wet and watery kind, lest you start getting wrong ideas, hehehe.

First and foremost, I must say that the graphics in this Fish Party game looks kinda cute and nice. Knowing how I do love nicely presented cartoonish icons, the ones here do get my approving nod. Not the best, not the cutest, not the funniest, but good enough for me. It could be much better of course, but I ain't lecturing on how to produce astonishing and astounding graphical presentations here, so we'll just stick with the fish party.

The logo 'Fish Party' is the Wild symbol, 5 of which pay 27x the total bet, but it doesn't double any wins with it, it doesn't expand, but it does come stacked on all reels. That's almost as good as becoming an Expanded Wild Reel, but not so good because it doesn't doubles any wins. In the Free Spins game, these Wilds become Super Stacked Wilds, which is just another term for Expanded Wild Reels. Hmm, whatever. The Clam is the Scatter symbol, 5 of which pay the usual 100x the total bet. Getting 3, 4 or 5 of these Clams trigger 20 free spins with Super Stacked Wilds. There isn't any indication if these Super Stacked Wilds could appear on all reels during the free spins, or only appearing on reels 3, 4 and 5 as in other similar games, but they are stacked on all reels in the base game. Stacked, but not necessarily fully Stacked on the reel as for an Expanded Wild Reel, and that makes a big difference between the two kinds of Stacked Wilds. Need I mention at all that the Free Spins game can be retriggered? The paytable says it can, but it rarely happens, so whenever a Microgaming game is in play, I always regard the retriggering bit as 'only if you're lucky enough to get it'.

Win values for 5-of-a-kind of the symbols ranged from 13x the total bet down to 2x the total bet. Not a lot is it? So it becomes very obvious here that the only way to get nice big wins in this Fish Party game would be to get as many as possible of that Super Stacked Wilds on the reels. Getting 4 of them would ensure many 5-of-a-kind wins in one single spin, and getting all 5 of them would pay the maximum win possible, if you're damn blardy lucky enough to get it!

Playing Fish Party is really not much different from playing any one of the other similar games like the Football Star, Rugby Star, Cricket Star, Break Away, Cool Wolf, and a few others more. All these games share the same basic game concept and design, so the excitement and the entertainment values of these similar games can never be that good. Even though the potential for huge wins are indeed possible, the payouts that I have gotten so far couldn't even come close to reflecting its potentials. My wins varied from as low as under 10x my bet, up to as high as 70x, but haven't got anything higher than that. So you can just imagine how difficult a task it would be to achieve a 1000x total bet win or higher!

I do enjoy a lot of the Microgaming 243 ways to win slot games, so was fast to give Fish Party a try when it was launched a while ago – in all honesty it doesn’t seem very long at all to me, I think that’s because Microgaming have released so few high quality games over the past year or two that the handful I have actually had any interest to me are the only ones I have any real recollection of!

One of the large and obvious issues with 243 ways game is that the vast majority of base game wins tend to be really very small – hitting just three symbols will often return just a fraction of your initial bet, and even a five of a kind of some of the picture symbols can win you as little as just 2x your stake, for example!

The reason for this is of course, there are so many more ways to hit a five of a kind in a 243 ways game compared to say, a 20 line slot, and therefore such wins are much more common. That fact alone can’t explain the huge difference in payouts though – in Fish Party specifically, there are stacked wilds on all reels, which massively reduces the payout for general wins because you have the possibility of getting a five of a kind hit on all 243 ways at once.

The designers of these games also seem to favour placing the vast majority of the games payout in the bonus game, something which seems to be a love-or-hate decision with players – indeed, the maximum base game win is just 40x your bet, but of course the stacked wilds give the potential for much higher multiples of your stake.

During the bonus game – a typical free spins feature – there are additional stacked wilds as well as stacks of the picture symbols from the base game, but there is no multiplier unfortunately!
Personally I think I would rather play Playtechs Great Blue than this game – the theme is extremely similar, and that game also features stacked wilds as well, but with the added bonus of up to 15x multiplier during the free spins mode. I will note though that the overall RTP of this game is around 5% higher than that of Great Blue, which is enough to make a significant difference to the number of sessions playing this game will result in a profit.

Playing Fish Party video slot game was a real treat for me. There are good wins during the base game, like every 10th spins I was getting 5 of a kind symbols with great payouts that were going more than 30 euros sometimes. For me, this is enough to convince me to spend more time on a given slot. Fish party is 5 reels and 243 ways to win video slot from Microgaming software. This game and its symbols are quite cheerful and the whole action takes place in the ocean. The treasure chest is the most valuable symbol and other important symbols in this game are the Fish Party logo which is a wild and the clam which is a scatter.

This game has only one bonus round and that is the free spins feature. You need 3 or more clam scatter symbols to trigger it and they can be anywhere on the reels. The first time I triggered the free spins I had 4 scatters and I got 8 free spins and 27.40 euros win. Next time I triggered the bonus with 3 scatters and I got 15 free spins and I won 46.20 euros. Later I found out that the number of free spins is random. I got confused when I got more free spins for 3 scatters, because usually it is the other way around. You can get between 8 and 20 free spins. But what makes this game extraordinary is that 3 of the fish and the treasure chest will be stacked on the reels which means you get a greater chance to hit a winning combination. The game itself is very interesting and you never feel bored while playing it. I really loved the payouts and the constant wins not only during the bonus round but also during the base game too. I highly recommend this game to anyone.
