When I first tried out this game when it was newly released about 2 or 3 years ago, I didn't like it much, perhaps being a Quickspin game gave me that first impression. However, I was quite impressed with its graphics - they look vibrant and exciting enough, with bright nice colours to attract players. But of course, playing it for the very first time, with just a handful of given free spins, it just couldn't bring in anything worthwhile, or anything worth remembering either. Then I also tried playing it a few times using some deposit bonus money, but that again came to naught, so I finally left the game for good, not touching it again, until very recently.

Anyone looking at the game's paytable would shake his/her head at the win values of the regular symbols! The highest paying regular symbol only pays 2x the total bet for getting 5 of them, whilst the lowest symbol pays only 0.4x! One of the lowest win values I have ever come across! But thankfully though, getting 5 regular Wild symbols would give a better win, but only as much as 20x the total bet amount. There are in fact 2 types of Wild symbols - the regular Wild and the Bonus Wild, with the Bonus Wilds substituting for all other symbols. There aren't any Scatter symbols in the game, so there aren't any Free Spins game either, which I don't like at all. However, getting 2 Bonus Wild symbols would award a Respin, with one randomly chosen regular symbol becoming sticky, but getting 3 or more Bonus Wild symbols gets a Respin and a random multiplier of up to 5x. Only this bit makes the game a little bit more interesting, otherwise those Respins without any multiplier would simply be boring!

Playing the game over an extended time could either be good or bad, depending on the mood of the game. My first few plays on Firestorm were rather fruitless, getting nothing more than small miserable peanut wins. Those Respins just couldn't bring in any decent wins at all. Only in my most recent play did something good came out of the Respins, but that win was without any multiplier, so that was rather disappointing too. Nonetheless, the fact remains that I simply couldn't get any win of 100x or more, as expected and as typically of most Quickspin games. The game can be fun and enjoyable to play, but that's not going to keep me in play. No big wins, no more play! Hehehe.

Firestorm has 5 reels and 25 fixed paylines. Firstly, this game looks great and is graphically sharp as most current slots out there. The reels are set against in the background of a jungle like an Aztec theme slot.

The lower value symbols are set against grey background while the higher paying symbols sparkle with gold, silver or bronze in the background of the symbol. This game comes with re-spins and locked wilds. The game has 2 wilds symbols, which is the standard green wild symbol which substitute for any symbols except bonus wild. Then you get your bonus wild in form of burning mask, which only appear on reels 2, 3 and 4 and triggers the bonus feature when you land a minimum of 2 of them on anywhere on the middle 3 reels.

Once the bonus feature is activated when 2 bonus wilds appear on the reels, they will stay locked in place for the rest of the feature. The game will reveal a special symbol which will be locked if landed on the reels. Any additional wilds also stay locked during the feature and re-spins are awarded every time a locked symbol appears. Landing more bonus wilds during the feature increased the multiplier of the bonus session up to a maximum of x5 your winnings.

This slot is of low variance and winnings are often. Your win amounts are often average and small, and sometimes big. Triggering the bonus feature is easy as during most of your spins you will land a bonus wild on the reels. You will not be able to win a life changing amount however this game will give you a good time for you money.

This game is definitely worth a try and is one of my favourites. But I enjoy slots more to make a profit and not for just playing for fun.

I tried to play this game at casino heroes, after I received some free spins into my cashier. After I finished with them, I made deposit and tried it with my own money. I played only with minimum bet stakes, since I made small deposit without taking any bonuses.

The game offer respin feature which is the only feature here. 2 or more bonus symbol triggers the feature. Wild, bonus and randomly selected symbols lock for respins. When you get 3 or more bonus symbols you can get up to x5 multiplier. I never received more than x3 multiplier, and even in the x3 multiplier results was poor. More locked symbols on respin gives you extra respin. I don't think this is a good feature; I played this game a couple of times but never received more than x30 bet. I don't think this game could provide big wins, since you get only a few respins.

I would like to see here at Firestorm more respins into feature. I had once almost full screen of wilds and one symbols and it paid only a little more than x20. I think this is not good at all. Payouts are poor; I expected more from this game. I would also like to see one bonus game, because while I was playing it, I was bored. The game animations are great, but the game should have a good paytable too. This game provide only small winnings, I don't think you can get more than x100 bet size here. The bad thing is also that quick spin button is not there.
