Pirates-themed games can be fun to play, well, to me at least. There are quite a number of such games available and from almost every game provider too, if not all. Nonetheless, not any one of them have made into my favourite list, for one reason or another. Somehow, they just don't pay or play as excitingly as other games. Maybe it takes a real pirate to design a really interesting and exciting pirate-themed game, who knows right? Hehehe.

Out of curiosity, I wanted to try out this Dead Man's Chest game after signing up at Gorilla Casino. I've never played it before and there's always a first time for every new game for me. The first thing I did, can you guess? Clever you! Yes, checked the paytable first. What? You guessed wrong? Ah well, never mind. Next time you'll know me better! Hehehe. To know any game, always look at the paytable first. How are the win values, are they any good? What features does the game have? Any chance of getting really big wins? With Dead Man's Chest, the answer can be simplified into "oh no!" Figure it out! Hahaha.

With such low win values, non-paying Wild symbol, no stacked or expanding Wilds, and whatnots, trying to win big on this game would be like finding a real pirate's treasure chest! Possible, but almost impossible at the same time! Yep, playing the game proved all of what I have said. 5-of-a-kind of the alphabet symbols, for example, doesn't even pay you back your bet amount! That's ridiculous! The free spins game do come quite often, which is pretty good, but the payouts are always like 1x - 5x the total bet amount most of the time. Aargh! Occasionally, you may get 10x - 20x total bet wins, but don't count too much on it happening. My highest win achieved so far? Would you believe 26x total bet? Yep, that's the best that I got from playing this dead game, err, I mean Dead Man's Chest game!

What do I dislike about the game? To cut a short story shorter, it has a very low paytable, the Wilds doesn't do much, no interesting features, the free spins game really sucks, and you can only hope to lose playing it! Time for me to find another pirat game somewhere else!
