Champs Elysees

Champs Elysees has been around for quite some time and it isn't one of Rival's new game releases. I have played this game a few times before this, but never getting any win from it. Ever since some Rival casinos have become accessible to me lately, I have been playing their games again, mostly for the purpose of refreshing my old memories on the games. Champs Elysees is one of them.

Champs Elysees is the famous road in Paris, where the Arc De Triomphe is located, one of the most infamous landmarks of this romantic 'City of Love'. The other landmark, the Eiffel Tower, needs no introduction at all. So it isn't surprising at all that a game themed on Paris should have these 2 landmarks as symbols in the game. The Eiffel Tower is chosen as the Wild symbol, most appropriately, and appears only on reels 1, 3 and 5. It doesn't pay anything for itself, sadly, but it expands into a full Wild Reel with any winning combinations, and even triples all wins with it in the Free Spins game, but not in the base game. What a pity! It substitutes for other symbols except the Scatter and Bonus symbols. The Arc De Triomphe is the Scatter symbol, another non-paying dumb symbol, appearing only on reels 3, 4 and 5, awarding 10, 20 or 40 free spins without any multiplier, but the Free Spins game can be retriggered, if you're lucky enough to get them. Getting 3 or more of the non-paying Bonus symbols during the free spins trigger a Shopping Spree Feature, a 'Pick-and-win' bonus game, to win an instant cash prize. As for the other symbols, the Shoes pay 1600x, the Handbag pays 1000x, the Chocolates pay 640x, the Wine pays 400x, and the rest pay from 320x to 75x, all per line bet for 5 of each kind. A low paytable.

Here's another of Rival's game that I thought could do quite well, with its 3x multiplier Wild symbol, but getting 10 free spins without any additional multiplier could not produce the desired results for me to make it a good game. However, I have not managed to get all 3 Wilds on the reels, which would otherwise produce 3 full Wild Reels during the free spins, which would then produce much bigger and better wins. Getting this is a definite possibility, but may require a lot of luck in getting it. My 2 Free Spins games only gave me a 13x and a blardy 1x total bet win, and the best win I got was only 28x. Overall, Champs Elysees was a very disappointing game for me, despite its good win potentials. Maybe others could be luckier.
