It has 5 reels, 5 rows and just 10 pay lines with a min bet of 0.10 when you play all 10 lines. Still, as I like to say good for low rolling sessions and it is all about getting the free spins feature. You can play with less lines if you like but I prefer to just keep it simple and do all 10 lines per spin.

As with most games of this type you will need to get 3 scatters or more and then the fun starts with 12 spins to start and you are looking to land the expanding birdman symbol, he acts a wild and each time he appears then you get upgraded symbols, and in addition to that you will get more free spins. The more of them that land during a feature the more spins you get. So while you can also get more free spins via 3 or more scatters it adds a nice touch to get more spins via the expanding wild birdman symbol thus making it a different kind of book game.

As with all Gamomat games there is a gamble feature that is there if you want to and there are two of them, the cards or the ladder, I usually go for the cards to just do a red or black gamble if on the rare occasion that I do have a go on the gambles cause I am used to that compared to ladder gambles.

I found that during my real money play on this slot that I was able to get my first free spins feature on the 137th spin and while that didn’t pay enough so I played on cause I wasn’t going to stop with a 13x and could see there was potential so I played on and then got another featurre just 42 spins later and that paid a bit less with 12x and then it was on the goal of getting a 3rd feature and that took 245 spins and this time it was a much better 165xbet result and with that I was satisfied for my first session on this slot in real mode.

As for the RTP that is with this slot, as usual Gamomat slots running at 96% or over and with this I played it on the 96.1% version. As long as Gamomat keeps me happy by giving their slots the 96% plus offering then I will recommend playing them and will play them every now and then myself too. What can I say about this slot that is there not to like I don’t know perhaps the Egyptian theme is not to everyones liking but for some reason the slot industry has a love affair with this theme and makes it in their range of themes. I will mostly play other themes though.

Upon comparing three similar ‘Books &’ games, this Temples game is much closer to the Bulls game, but both cannot really match up to the much better ‘Books & Pearls’ game. How so you may be asking? Well, firstly, the paytable varies slightly, the win values of the symbols are much lower, so the payout potentials are also lower and different.

What I do like about this Temples game is that the play lines can be selected from 5 or 10 lines. However, the Horus Wild symbol is non-paying, but it expands into a full Wild Reel with any winning combination. The Book symbol is the standard Wild and Scatter symbol, paying 200x for getting 5 of them, and triggers 10 free spins with expanding and scattering symbols. The Temple is also a Scatter symbol, with the same 200x payout, but it triggers a separate feature game of 12 free spins without any win multiplier. Why no win multiplier as in the Pearls game? This is not good and it actually sucks! However, getting 1, 2 or 3 Scatters during the free spins play would add +1, +3 or +12 more free spins, but without any multipliers in play, I don’t think the payouts could ever be really good or big.

If that wasn’t bad enough, the win values of the symbols are also disappointing. The top paying regular symbol, the Explorer, would pay only 100x the stake amount for getting 5 of them, as compared to the usual 500x. Getting all 15 Explorer symbols in the free spins would therefore pay only 1000x and not 5000x! The other symbols too have much lower win values, paying from only 75x down to 10x, as compared to 200x to 10x, so you can see the big difference in the payout potentials of this game. This is absolutely frustrating! Why the great reduction I simply cannot figure out!

Having seen all those values, I wasn’t really keen to play this Temples game, but since I was already into it, I gave it a play anyway. I wasn’t expecting anything much from it, nor expecting any good big wins from it either, and that was exactly what I got! Quite a disappointing game play actually, getting mostly low payouts, even from the free spins, and the best win that I could get was only a 135x win. Nonetheless, bigger and better wins are indeed possible, but at what cost? I wasn’t risking it to find out, so I quit playing the game instead. Would I play it again later on? Definitely not!
