Graphically, the Warrior icons are quite nicely presented, but the white background does make everything look a little incomplete - it fails to bring out the Warrior icons to the front, for a much better visual impact. The logo itself is the Wild symbol in the game, paying a good 500x total bet for getting 5 of them. It substitutes for other symbols except for the Scatter and the Bonus symbols, but does not double any wins with it, nor becomes stacked or expanded. Wish it would.

The Scatter symbol pays a good 400x total bet for getting 5 of them, and getting 3 or more of these symbols trigger 10 free spins with all wins tripled. Only 10 free spins, even with 5 Scatters? Hmm, not good enough! However, the Free Spins game can be retriggered, but knowing how MG games have been so far, I really doubt if the retriggers would exceed 2 times. The Chest is the Bonus symbol, but it doesn't pay anything for itself, and getting 3 or more of them consecutively on any payline trigger the King's Treasure Bonus game. Pick chests out of the 12 shown to win cash prizes, up to 166x the total bet amount. This Bonus game can also be triggered during the free spins but the wins are not multiplied. As for the other symbols in the game, they pay from 33.3x to 5x the total bet for getting 5 of each kind. A good paytable from Microgaming for a change.

As with most games, whenever the paytable is good, the good wins would come less frequently, except for the small insignificant ones. My one and only play on 108 Heroes couldn't impress me enough. I couldn't even get one Free Spins game, did get 2 Bonus games that paid 12x and 8x my bet amount, but the payouts in the base games were mostly below 1x my bet amount. That really sucks! The visual inspiration is taken by Chinese warrior theme and along with regular letters, there are also several Chinese warriors as symbols. Chinese inspired games have never really been my cup of tea as usually they have lots of bright red colors and the designs can be overwhelming. In this case I do think that design is quite decent and tasteful.

From many aspects this game technically is very similar to other Microgaming slots- there are 15 paylines, free spins bonus and a pick me bonus. I have to say that after spending one session with this game, it didn't grow on me. I spent my session by playing with minimum bets and half session with 0.45€ per spin. I had the luck to experience many bonus rounds, but truth be told, none of the features paid over 30x bet and my biggest win of 40x bet came from a 5oak combination on base game. I do think that free spins bonus is nice with 10 free spins and 3x multiplier, but because of the payline amount, I found it to be very hard to get 5oak winnings.

And while I think that the free spins have some winning potential, I really dislike the pick bonus for two reasons- first of all it's really hard to get it as you need 3 or more bonus symbols on an active payline and secondly- the payouts are low. Its really rare that I like the base game more then the Bonus or Free Spins features, but unlike its fantastic and exciting intro to the Bonus game, the way it plays itself left me disappointed. Fighters characters are somehow more interesting to me then just a simple 'Pick-up Bonus' feature. I like the background soundtrack way too much and it makes me feel really good and wanting to stay a bit longer than my balance would allow me. When you trigger the bonus there are 12 treasure chest and you have to choose 3, 4 or 5 of them, depending on how many chest symbols triggered the bonus in the base game. The treasure chests are in 3 rows and the first time I opened the bonus I chose 1 treasure chest in each row. The ones that are in the first row were always hiding higher amounts compared to the others.

Besides the King`s Treasure bonus there is a free spin round but I did not manage to trigger this feature. It is probably really good since all the wins are tripled during the free spins.

This slot is inspired by the Chinese martial arts. Games that are with 5 reels and 15 pay lines usually have good potential. The graphics and the sound effects are nothing special. Every time I see that there is a new release I expect to see something new but not this time and not with this game.
