Triple Strike Poker by Platipus Gaming — Overview
If you like 3 Card Poker but want a little more action in each round, check out Triple Strike Poker by Platipus Gaming. You can play 3 hands at once and add Pair Plus side bets to each hand.
Click on up to three “Ante” segments to activate the designated hands, along with “Pair Plus” to add a side bet. You’ll then be dealt 3 cards to each active hand. If you like what you see, click “Call” to add another Ante wager; if not, select “Fold” to forfeit the hand.
The goal is to beat the dealer with a stronger poker hand. The dealer also has to qualify with at least a queen high. If they don’t, all “Calls” are refunded, but Ante wins return even money; if they do qualify and you win, you’ll get even money payouts on both bets.
See this guide on how to play 3 Card Poker for more information on the basics of the game.
Pair Plus bets pay according to a paytable. The dealer doesn’t need to qualify, and you don’t even need to win the main hand to collect a payout with this side bet.
As with all casino table games, the best way to learn how to play Triple Strike Poker is to play a few rounds of the demo. Try it on desktop or mobile, with the latter offering simple touch controls and responsive, immersive gameplay for most Android and iOS devices.
RTP and Limits
Online casinos set their own min/max bet limits. The default minimum on the Triple Strike Poker demo is set to €0.50 per game, jumping to a maximum of €100 for the Ante and €50 for the Pair Plus. If you play all three hands with side bets and Call all of them, that maximum jumps to €750.
The 40:1 maximum win comes via a straight flush on the Pair Plus, with no distinction between a straight flush and a royal flush. The straight flush also returns 5:1 for the Ante.
The Triple Strike Poker game has an RTP of 97.99% (2.01% house edge), but as with the volatility, it varies based on player actions. For example, the theoretical RTP for the Pair Plus drops to 97.68% (2.32% house edge).
