Okay, I must admit that I cannot remember much of how things were with the Three Wishes game some years ago, but after reading the reviews here, I now know that nothing has changed and nothing new has been added. It's still the same old game but with a new name. Why a new name? Beats me. The game still play with 30 paylines, with the same minimum starting bet of 0.60 per spin, and still paying both ways too. I guess this is the reason why the game plays with 0.60 and not the usual 0.30 as one would expect. Paying two ways meant paying double the starting bet amount - not to my liking, but I'm sure many others don't like it too. It is a little bit too high.
The Magic Carpet is the Wild symbol, paying a very low 250x the line bet for getting 5 of them. Getting this Magic Carpet anywhere on reel 1 pays 4 credits, and starts the Carpet squashing every symbol to the right of it and paying an instant cash prize for each one. It also substitutes for other symbols except for the Scatter and Bonus symbols, but doesn't double wins with it, nor become stacked or expanded. The Chest is the Scatter symbol, a dumb one sadly, for not paying anything for itself, but getting 3, 4 or 5 of them triggers 5, 10 or 20 free spins without any multiplier. Argh! Worse still, there is no indication in the paytable if the Free Spins game can be retriggered or not. BetSoft paytables always omit this bit of info and I don't it this at all. Paytables should be as informative as possible, without leaving the players guessing about anything.
The Monkey is the Bonus symbol, appearing only on reel 3, yet another dumb symbol in the game, and getting this Monkey in the center of reel 3 triggers a 'Click Me' feature. Pick the items to win instant cash prizes, until a 'Collect' icon is picked, which ends the game. The Magic Lamp is also a Bonus symbol, another dumb one, and getting 3 or more of the Lamps on any active payline triggers the Genie's Fortune feature. Choose 3 Wishes from the 6 shown to win instant cash prizes. As for the other symbols, the Dancer pays 200x, the Camel pays 160x, the Gold pays 120x, the Swords pay 100x, and the rest pay from 80x to 20x, all per line bet for getting 5 of each kind. Unfortunately, this paytable is an extremely low one!
