Magic Boxes play with 25 paylines, lower than the other 3 games I have come across, but with similar graphics and gameplay qualities. The Magic Box is the dumb Wild symbol, it doesn't pay anything for itself, appears only on reels 2, 3 and 4, doesn't double any wins with it, doesn't become stacked or expanded, and substitutes for other symbols except for the Scatter symbol. During the free spins, the Wild symbol pays differently. It comes in 3 colours, and pays either 2x, 3x or 4x. A combination of 2 or 3 Wild symbols would turn the lower Wild symbols into the highest possible, and multiplying the wins accordingly. However, I am not certain if 3 Wild symbols of 4x multiplier each would multiply the wins by 64x, or just by 4x, regardless of the other two 4x multipliers. This isn't properly defined in the paytable, so perhaps you need to win it to know it. I couldn't and I didn't get it.
The EIght Ball is the Scatter symbol, paying 100x the total bet for getting 5 of them, as usual, and getting 3, 4 or 5 of the Scatters trigger 8, 16 or 24 free spins without any multiplier. Argh! I really hate it when free spins are without any multiplier. No chance of getting nice good wins at all. However, the Free Spins game can be retriggered, if that can do any good at all, which seldom does anyway. Microgaming's retrigger of any Free Spins game almost always see the extra free spins going to waste, without giving any significant extra wins, except for high variance games, like Supe It Up or Isis, when those retriggers can and would make a big difference in the final payout amount. For other games, sorry, retriggers are usually not that productive. As for the other symbols in this game, the Hat pays 10x, the Gyro pays 8x, the Toy Train pays 6x, the Cards pay 4x, and the rest pay from 2x to 1x, all per total bet for getting 5 of each kind. And once again, a very low paytable.
