High Society Slot

High Society is Microgaming powered video slot with 5 reels and 25 pay-lines. This slot is inspired with all the perks of rich people, and it offers you the glimpse of how it looks like. The reels are black, and they are framed in gold. Also, the reels are set against the background of a city where rich and wealthy people presumably live. Give this interesting slot a spin for free on this page or visit Microgaming Casinos to play for real money.

Before you take a peek into this world, you should set your bets. By clicking on "Bet" you can set coins size, the number of coins per line and lines. "Coins Size" button will set coins denomination which ranges from 0.01 to 0.10, and "Coins" is used to set the number of coins per line that you wish to bet, and "Lines" will set the number of lines. "Spin" will set the reels in motion, and "Autoplay" option is used to turn the reels without interruption for a chosen number of times.

The game logo is the Wild symbol, and it can be stacked during base game. The symbol appears only on reels 1 and 5, and it can substitute for all symbols except for the Scatter.

Euro money clip is the Scatter symbol in the game, and it can form scatter wins. All scatter wins are multiplied by total bet staked. Also, if you hit 3 or more of these anywhere on the reels you will get the chance to play free spins. You will have two bonus choice here – Free Spins with Super Wild Reels or Free Spins with Super Multiplier.

If you choose Free Spins with Super Wild Reels you will get 10, 15 or 20 spins depending on the number of scatters you land. With each spin within this feature between 2 and 4 reels will turn completely wild. If you land 2 scatters during this round on reels 1 and 5, you will get additional 10 free spins, and if it lands on reel 1 or 5 it will turn that reel wild.

If you choose Free Spins with Super Multiplier you will receive 10 free spins. You will start the round with x2, x3 or x5 multiplier which depends on the number of triggering symbols. A Scatter on reel 1 or 5 will increase the multiplier by 1. If you land a Scatter on reels 1 and 5 will retrigger the feature and award you with additional free spins.

I like this game! It seems that the key to catch often the free spins bonus (3 scatters with euro symbol) is to control manually Spin/Stop button. There are two styles of free spins to choose: one with a wild column at each spin and each scatter turns into an extra wild column, giving possibility of triggering other free spins; the other with incremental multipliers from 2x to 6x each time a scatter appears. After having tried both several times, I prefer the free spins with wild columns. Once I got several other free spins bonus within the first one, yielding a huge win, needless to say! Lot of fun!

I used to love this game, especially when you get the 3 white/gold/green with the euro symbols

I paid $300 cash to BETAT Casino over a day and a half, and played the whole lot on high society game, making 75c and $1 bets (so over 400 spins) and not once in 400+ times did I get the free spins. Not even close. The symbols on the 2, 3 and 4 reels don't even exist hardly. You don't even see a flash of them for over 50 spins. That game or casino took all that money and couldn't give me one lousy free spins

I've never been one of those lucky people to be in the 'high society', but money and wealth doesn't mean happiness at all! Rich people have thousands of other money-related problems, mainly concerning their personal life and safety, but that's another story. For me, I'm happy enough to live a simple uncomplicated life, a good life, and with just enough money to keep me going on and on, without having to worry about anything! I've had my share of huge money woes before, really horrible ones, really unthinkable and undesirable ones, but it's all in the past now, and I thank God for that! High society for me now, is nothing more than a game, this game! Hahaha.

Okay, so many of you already know how critical I can be of any Microgaming game, simply due to those many years of bad experiences with MG casinos and MG games! I hate most of them, even now, but I do admit that some games are acceptable enough for me. So, if any MG game gets green stars from me, then that game is okay with me. Heey, you jumped the gun and looked at the stars for this game, didn't you? Hahaha, but never mind! Such curiosity is totally common in almost everyone, including me, and it is good to be curious than not being curious at all! Yeah, like, show me just a bit of a smooth hairless leg and I'll become crazily curious! Hahaha.

MG's paytables are hardly good enough for me. The win values for the symbols are always so low, and the Wild symbols usually pay nothing. Don't believe me? Look at 'High Society's paytable then. The Wild is just a substituting symbol, appearing only on reels 1 and 5, so it actually does almost nothing! The scatters are more active, 5 of which pays 100x the total bet, typical of MG's low standards, and 3 or more scatters activate the two different types of Bonus games. Without these two Bonus games, I would consider High Society as almost a dead game!

The first bonus game, the Super Wild Reels. There are 10, 15 or 20 free spins to be awarded with 3, 4 or 5 scatters respectively. Very little free spins, if you ask me! Any win multiplier? Nope! At best, you can get 3 reels of Expanded Wilds on reels 2, 3 and 4, randomly. If you get a scatter of both reels 1 and 5, then 10 more free spins will be awarded, plus turning those two reels into Expanded Wilds. Can you ever get this together with that 3 Expanding Wilds on reels 2, 3 and 4, thus making all 5 reels into Expanded Wilds? God knows, I don't know for sure. If it does happen, you can be sure that it would be a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence!

The second bonus game, the Super Multiplier. You get 10 free spins only, regardless of 3, 4 or 5 scatters that triggered this bonus game. A scatter on reel 1 or on reel 5 would increase the multiplier to the next higher level, depending on the number of scatters that triggered this game, up to the maximum of 10x. Get a scatter on both reels 1 and 5, then 10 more free spins are awarded, but does not increase the win multiplier.

Which bonus game is better amongst those two? Hmm, I'm not an expert on MG games, so I can't say for sure. Personally, I would think the Super Wild Reels would and could give huge wins at the right time, but I haven't seen any of this happening as yet. So your guess is as good as mine, for better or for worse.

What do I dislike about High Society? The same old ways as I would dislike most other Microgaming games too. The low paytable, the 'dead' Wilds, and the promises of 'retriggers', for more free spins, that hardly ever happen! If you do get them, consider yourself damn lucky!
