Golden Caravan Slot

Play for real money

Golden Caravan is a 10-payline video slot, running on the Play’n GO software platform. This desert-themed slot features colourful symbols including the treasure chest, an Arab trader and a Chinese merchant. There are 5 paperlike reels set against the desert backdrop. You can try the game here for free, or visit any of the listed Play’n GO Casinos if you prefer playing for real money.

Before approaching the desert, players should set their bets first. Use the “Lines” selector to regulate the number of paylines, ranging from 1 to 10. The “Coins” option is used to adjust the number of coins, which varies from 1 to 5. The “Coin value” sets the coin size and ranges from 0.01 to 1. If you wish to play the game for the preset number of rounds without interruption press “Autoplay”. Once you are ready, hit “Spin”.

The Golden Caravan is the Wild. It may occur anywhere on the reels and act as a substitute for any other symbol, with the exception of the Scatter.

The Camel is the game’s Scatter. Regardless of their position, at least 3 Scatters need to land at the same time to trigger 10 Free Spins. The Scatter may occur on the reels 1, 3 and 5. During Free Spins, the Scatter will become the Wild and act as a substitute for any other symbol which will increase the players’ winning potentials.

Since the win multiplier is added, your chances of winning will be even greater during the free rounds. Although the initial multiplier is 2, every time 3 Scatters land simultaneously, the Free Spins counter will restart and increase the multiplier by one.

I always wanted to sit on the back of a camel taking that slow stroll through the desert and look for the riches in Dubai lol. Spinning this 10-payline slot at minimum bet of $0.10 is just enough to get me going. I like low budget slots with big paying potential.

Golden Caravan is a highly volatile slot from PlaynGo. The highest value symbol is the bearded jewel broker, which is the game's wild and will reward you with 5,000 times your line stake if you get 5 on a payline, which is very difficult to get I suppose, because I never got nearly 3 on a payline.

The camel is the scatter and when 3 appear on reels 1, 3 and 5, you will activate the Free Spins feature. You will be awarded with 10 free spins and 2x multiplier. Whenever a retrigger occurs, the multiplier increases with x1 and reset the free spins counter back to 10. In addition, the scatter symbol is an additional wild during free spins.

I must admit triggering the free spins can take sometimes long. If I must compare this slot to Sails of gold, I would prefer sails of gold, as triggering free spins is easy and retrigger as well. Of course, this slot is of high variance, but sometimes I do not have the patience to wait for that hit. I sometimes am in it for the quick win or hit and run.

With the winning potential this slot has to offer, I never got to experience the winning streak on this slot. It has mostly been cold to me and I lost my balance very quickly at time. One day is one and I will come back and break the bank again with Play n Go like I do on their other slots. I think this slot is great but not for me in the long run. I prefer Sails of gold.

I wasn't sure what this game had to do with caravans upon first glance, but that turned out to be nothing more than the result of my own ignorance... a caravan was a line of vehicles for a long time before it became a trailer being towed on the back of a car, a fact I'd probably do well to remember! In this game the "caravan" is a line of camels making their way across the desert, but really this is all just window dressing on a typically average slot machine.

That's not to say that Golden Caravan is a bad game though! With a maximum win of 5,000x your stake I was certainly interested to try my luck on this machine and see if I could perhaps get a shot at portion of the Eastern treasure! Well sort of, as today I'm actually trying this machine for the first time and so am giving it a blast in free money mode first of all!

Getting the free spins on this game feels quite difficult, the scatters only appear on three of the five reels as with many Play N Go games and whilst I don't know for sure if this affects your odds of triggering the feature it certainly feels as if it makes a difference. It's definitely worth it once you get there though as it is during the free spins that you have a shot at the games biggest prizes as extra multipliers can be added all the way up to a maximum of 10x.
It can be really quite difficult to get yourself up the multiplier bar though as you effectively need a retrigger in order to step up, and I think it's quite a cheat that the game resets your free spins back to 10 when you hit one of these rather than adding ten spins to your remaining total as you will find in most other games!

Whilst the graphics are nicely drawn I didn't find them particularly attractive, the character symbols in particular look a little creepy to me but I guess maybe I just don't like this particular art style. I also don't like the way that Play N Go insist on using the same set of sound effects in pretty much all of their games - I'm sure they could find a few different noises for the win count up and big win exclamation effects if they wanted to!

One thing I find a little irritating about playing Play N Go games in free mode is that every time you hit a five of a kind or any other reasonably sized win the game will stop the autoplay mode and show a nag screen asking if you would like to play for real money. Clearly Play N Go think that a decent hit will make you more tempted to try the game for real, which maybe it might but the cynic in me really doesn't like the timing of these popups.

Golden Caravan is my kind of game. This is a video slot game from Play N` Go which is based on Marco Polo journeys. You have to find the Eastern Riches and you will be good for life. This is a high variance game so it is very possible to lose your money very fast.

Golden Caravan is a 5 reels and 10 pay lines video slot game. I have played this slot couple of times and the outcome was always different. But to be honest most of the times I was losing all my money and could not continue playing. There are some wins now and then but you lose the money that you earn very fast. There is only one feature in this game and that is the free spins round. The last time I played this game I started with 100 euros on my balance because I know that this exact slot requires time to let you win something.

To activate the free spins in the Golden Caravan you need to land 3 camel scatter symbols on the first, third and fifth reel. This is probably the reason why it is so difficult, not to say impossible to activate this feature. During my session I got 10 free spins and this feature is so powerful thanks to the multipliers. I won around 200 x bet, which is nothing considering the fact that this game can pay up to 5000 x bet. I know that every time I activate the free spins I will activate them again very fast. So I increased my bet and continued spinning the reels. I did activate the free spins but the win was somewhere around 50 x bet this time. I did not want to risk anymore so I made a withdrawal. I had only 10 euros more on my initial balance, but at least I played the game for a while.

“Golden Caravan” is a slot released last April and created by “Play'n GO” under the format of 5 x 3 reels, provided with 10 paylines, and where combinations are paid only from left to right.

For its part, the theme is inspired by the long and lucrative travel between Europe and the Far East performed by ancient merchants through the Silk Route, and in general terms, graphics of this slot are pretty good and actually they make it a very visually appealing game.

Hit rate during the base game is sufficiently dynamic despite being a slot of few lines, and I think the wild symbol is the main tool by which Play'n GO has done it, this and the fact that higher paid symbols of this game have been set to pay for lines from just 2 of a kind.

The best feature of this game is the round of 10 free spins, and it is because during it all our winnings are initially multiplied by X2, but if you achieve to re-trigger this feature then the round is restarted keeping your gains, but instead of X2, your winnings will be multiplied by X3, onward adding X1 to the multiplier factor each time you manage to re-trigger the round. Additionally, during these free spins, the scatter with the image of camel joins the wild symbol in its task of serving as a substitute for regular symbols.

I have had the opportunity to play this slot a few times, with better results sometimes than others, and my conclusion is that this is a slot of medium volatility that has a payment system pretty fair, so in this game, we can most certainly aspire not only to sustain our balance for a long time, but even we can also hope to get a profit, this because wild and scatter symbols are always flowing naturally throughout our entire session.

I just think “Golden Caravan” is a slot that deserves a chance, even if you're not a fan of slots with few paylines.

Aah! How about you and me taking a Golden Caravan trip to the desert somewhere, find ourselves a beautiful eye-winking Oasis girl, get love-struck, then we return home with gold coins in our pockets? No, thanks? Oh gees! For a moment there, I got lost with my Oasis dream girl from the Desert Treasure. I thought Golden Caravan could be a similar beautiful outing to the desert, but it isn't.

This new game from PlayNGo plays with only 10 paylines, which actually makes the game cheaper to play, but with 50% less winning chances if played with 15 paylines. Why only 10 paylines? Hmm. Perhaps to follow the trend of Novomatic games? Perhaps to minimise chances of huge wins? Who knows! This Golden Caravan game has only 1 feature to offer, which is a Free Spins Game that awards 10 free spins with a 2x multiplier. But don't be disheartened as yet, because retriggers are possible, with each retrigger resetting the free spins count back to 10 and increasing the win multiplier by +1 each time. Hmm, this sounds interesting enough, although it is not a new concept, but the question now is, just how many times can the retriggering happen, and just how high can the win multiplier go up to? Would it be just 5x? Or perhaps up to 10x or more? Only 1 way to find the game more! Hahaha.

The Bedouin is the Wild symbol, 5 of him pays 5000x the line bet. The Camel is the Scatter symbol, appearing only on reels 1, 3 and 5, and getting all 3 of them awards 10 free spins with a 2x multiplier. Somewhere along the line, a strange Chinese man got lost and appears in this game, 5 of him paying 2000x the line bet. Nah, he cannot be a Chinese genie. This isn't a genie game anyway, but, what the heck, this is how PlayNGo want this game to play! Hehehe. Hmm. All other symbols pay from 750x down to 100x the line bet, to make this paytable an average one. Meaning, not so good, but not too bad.

Playing the Free Spins game is the only interesting point in Golden Caravan. Unlike Microgaming's promise of retriggers, PlayNGo kept to their promise and made retriggers happen quite frequently! Without this, Golden Caravan would be as good as dead! I've had a few retriggers so far, pushing the multiplier up to 5x, resetting the counter back to 10 free spins with each retrigger, so the free spins game can go on for quite a while. Hmm. That's the way, ah-hah ah-hah, I like it! Hehehe. On top of that, during the free spins, the Camel itself acts as an extra Wild, creating even more winning chances, plus retriggering more free spins with 3 of them, and increasing the win multiplier to Kingdom Come. Nah, that won't happen. It never will. Nothing lasts forever, right Taylor darling?

Hmm. Am I talking about Desert Treasure here, or am I talking about Golden Caravan? Both games are worth a thousand words and more, but Golden Caravan has yet to prove its mettle. Desert Treasure already did for me many years ago, and that itself was a once-in-a-lifetime memory for keeps!
