This Flame Dancer is an old game, not sure how old, but I first played it about 3 or 4 years ago. At that time, I was still a newbie with Novomatic games, so I had spent quite some time with the various games, and spending more time only on the ones that I like. This Flame Dancer was one of them. The Flame Dancer is the Wild symbol, it doesn't pay anything for itself, argh, substitutes for other symbols except the Scatter symbol, appears only on reels 2 and 4, and can expand in all directions in winning combinations, meaning, expanding both horizontally and vertically. The Fire is the Scatter symbol, paying 2500x the line bet for getting 5 of them, or 125x the total bet. Getting 3 or more of the Scatters trigger 7 free spins with Additional Wilds. During the free spins, the Wild symbol transforms all the high-paying symbols into Wilds, hence expanding in either direction in winning combinations.
Getting 5 Wilds would pay the highest win of the transformed symbol or symbols, and not paying for the highest paying symbol as the usual case may be. For example, if the Drums is the highest transformed symbol in a winning combination, then the payout would be as for getting 5 Drums symbols. This isn't so good. I would prefer the Wilds to always pay for the highest symbol, which is the Volcano, valued at 10,000x the line bet, or 500x the total bet. However, multiple Wild lines are possible, so the maximum possible win may well be up to 1500x the total bet. Not sure if this win can be higher, because to get 4 Wild lines from just 20 paylines seems a little bit too far fetched to me. The Free Spins game can be retriggered, so that's a consolation. As for the other high-paying symbols, the Drums pay 3750x, the Guitar pays 2000x and the Coconut Drink pays 2000x as well, all per line bet for getting 5 of each kind. The lower symbols pay from 750x to 500x the line bet for each 5 of a kind. This paytable is a good one without any doubt.
