Based on what I experienced while playing this video slot, it appears that the wild is a very active symbol that appears very often and sometimes it does it in bulk, so it is not uncommon to see 3, 4 or 5 wilds spread on all the reels, however, this does not seem to be enough to get a few greenbacks from this game due to multiple reasons.
For a start, your average payouts during the base game are quite low due to the weak paytable designated for this slot. For example, if you form a line of 5 of a kind with the symbols “J” or “10,” then your total payout will be 2.5 times your total bet, and you know that lines of 5 of a kind do not happen all the time; in addition, payouts for higher symbols are not really good.
As for the bonus round, this gives you a total of three chances to choose the hat with the best prize, but the truth is that all awards are usually modest, and for modest I mean prizes under 5x your total bet; additionally, this feature is not activated so fluidly that justifies these small payouts.
Finally, there is a free spins round which seems impossible to be triggered; I could not even find out how many spins it gives this feature.
All the above weaknesses far outweigh any benefit coming from the recurring appearance of wild symbols, and in my case, “Fairytale” was a game in which I never had the chance to get ahead, my coins simply seemed to vanish spin after spin.
An ungenerous slot is generally not so fun and certainly this game does not seem to have enough arguments to show an acceptable winning potential that tempts me to play again, so my only suggestion here is: be careful when you risk your money on it.
