Sklots = Skills+ Slots. I decided to try this casino after seeing a no deposit promotion on AskGamblers.com. First slot I tried was the Meow Money slots. The graphics are different and refreshing. The bonus round is matching tiles of cats which is almost like a puzzle type feature.

While exploring this online casino, I discovered that they also hold tournaments, and some free tournaments which a player needs to qualify for. The game I played is not slots but a shooting game.

You score points by hitting the lions and elephants with your monkeys, and cause as much destruction as possible, to finish the level. Although I haven’t quite figured out how their tournaments work yet. If you looking for something different, Sklots is a definite one to try. I noticed after playing one or two slots in the casino tab. I started to get notifications of different achievements I achieved. I also had a go at Click and Clear Slots. It’s a 20 liner and every time you land on a nice paying line. Balloons appear and fly up over the slots while paying. For those who love animals there is also a doggie slots called Rollover Rover. Same concept as the kitty slots but this one has a doggie theme.

Another slot I tried was the Candy Swap Sklot. It has a candy theme. I enjoyed the graphic on this slot game. The bonus feature is also puzzle type feature where you have to match up the sweets in rows of 3 or more in a certain time frame. So- you need to click – QUICK ! All the sklots/slots have an autoplay feature one we cannot do without except for the shooting type game. There are also nice multiplier symbols that multiply your line score which is great.

I don’t know what the withdrawal procedures are yet. But when I do I will definitely let you know.

I thought I would give Sklots a go because it really is different from any other casino I have played in. The addition of the 10 pound no deposit offer was a strong draw, but the reality is that with a 100x playthrough bonus you are never going to take of the bonus out. I took it more as play money to see what they have on offer. All the usual casino games are there. You get table games like roulette, you get card games like poker and blackjack. You also get to play slot games and scratch cards and anything that you would usually find in a casino. The games are as good as you would find in any other casino, and I could not really find a fault with any of them. There are less spectacular video slots than you find anywhere else. The real draw for the whole Sklots experience is the skill games - these games are based on memory work and hand eye co-ordination. You play against other casino players as opposed to against the house (which makes sense otherwise you would just master the game and cream money of the casino). The casino acts as a betting exchange and takes some commission off the winner.

The betting works very simply, you stake a certain amount of money, and someone else in the world takes up the other side of the bet and competes against you for the combined stake. Of course this system requires a lot of practice to get used to and it is recommended you play on play money before the real thing. This is embyonic at the moment and I found that they stakes that they offered very low - less than $5 per game, so if you were a high roller it is not really the place for you to play. The games themselves are pleasant enough - they are fun and take not much longer than a minute to play. You also get to play in tournaments for bigger stakes. I always wonder how much potential for abuse there is in these systems because if they finally had big amounts staked could they not play you against a computer or master program to take your money? Besides this doubt, I think that the whole system is a novel idea but has not become big enough to take off. If I was going to put money down I would want bigger bonuses and bigger stakes.

A nice concept, but too early for me to set down money - perhaps I will return in the future 7/10 for the concept.

I registered straight away and was told the free £10 would be credited within a few days. This gave me the opportunity to have a go in practice mode. There isn’t a massive range of games to choose from and the Sklots I did play I found were very ‘child like’ which is ironic when you have to be over 18 to play them. However, I enjoyed playing them and they paid well. The skill bonus games were enjoyable I found the memory ones really hard though lol.

I received an email to say the £10 had been credited to my account the very next day. It comes with a hefty wagering requirement of 100 times so £1000. Not impossible though. Both practice mode and real mode only allows you place a minimum bet per line of 5p so for their 20 line Sklots it’s a minimum of £1 a spin. Their real mode is nowhere near the same as the practice mode they offer. My money was gone in about ten minutes. The most I won in a single spin was £1.25 and I didn’t get the bonus game once which was very different to when I was playing practice.

Prior to playing real mode I was considering depositing here, their minimum deposit is £5, but now I have played through the £10 free I would definitely not deposit here.
