T&Cs changes applied retrospectively
Hi, I was hoping to get some assistance with a current dispute I have regarding Barbados Casino I took up a bonus offer with them on 28th October. It was a deposit £270 get £200 bonus as part of a triple deposit promotion that was emailed to me on this date. This was the second part of the offer, having already deposited £200 for a £100 bonus which I subsequently lost. I make a strong point of always checking the terms and conditions of any bonus offer I receive as I know casinos tend to vary their terms from time to time. In this case, the terms were covered under their general bonus policy of which the only relevant restriction was "If the player placed single bets equal to or greater than £5.50 or 15 percent of the bonus amount before the wagering requirements for the bonus have been met, we reserve the right to withhold any amount in excess of the player’s original deposit from a player’s withdrawal.In addition, if a player deposited with Skrill or Neteller and placed single bets equal to or greater than £2.50 of the bonus amount before the wagering requirements for the bonus have been met, we reserve the right to withhold any amount in excess of the player’s original deposit from a player’s withdrawal." At this point, their terms had last been updated on 16 March 2017. I was already aware of the stake restriction so played on some slots keeping my stake to £5. I went on to win £1350 including my original stake having completed the necessary wagering requirements, still keeping within the £5 spin limit. I then put in a cashout request and uploaded by ID documents in readiness. Imagine my suprise on receiving a email on the 31st October saying my payment had been declined. The reason given was "We reserve the right to withhold any amount in excess of the player's original deposit from a player's withdrawal if the player placed bets equal to or greater than 5.5 Euro or $0.50 per line or 15 percent of the bonus amount before the wagering requirements for that particular bonus have been met " Note the new 0.50 per line restriction as this was not present in the terms I referred to on their website 3 days earlier. I had played slots with stakes greater than 0.50 on a single line but still within the £5 maximum overall stake per spin. In fact, they updated their terms to include this restriction on 30/10/2017 and assume they are legally permitted to then confiscate my winning previously earned under different (and abided by) terms. I queries this immediately with them and received the following response : "Kindly note that the bonus policy & terms were updated prior to your cashout being declined. " So the fact that they didn't process my cashout immediately, and then in the meantime decided to alter their terms to my detrement, means they have legal entitilement to confiscate any winnings from historic tranactions that complied with terms in force at the time. They have simply refunded my £270 and now consider the matter closed. Of course, they haven't refunded my other losing deposits that I played previously on the same stake per line basis. Before I escalate this further via legal channels and professional regulators, I'd like to give Barbados Casino the chance to justify their actions on a public forum. Thanks

Great games, quite a slick site. A few delays on games but nothing to annoying. The games are like may other sites, if you catch one then you tend to win quite a bit but some of them are absolute dogs.

I made 2 withdrawals 3 days ago, and whilst I was not expecting a speedy payout, as with many of the sites, they keep the money as long as possible, I was surprised to log in today to find it was still pending.
I tried the fast talk option and got though straight away to question the wait. I was told "due to unforseen circumstances my withdrawals had been delayed".
When I questioned this reponse a couple of times, to see if this delay would be an hour or a day, or what this unforseen circumstance was, I was told " we will let you know when we have sorted it out", and then she cut me off.
Truly shocking.

It is true, the withdrawals are within 24 hours, or at least that was my experience. Verification was fast too. Bonus promotions are ok. Friendly service, they are even funny when you talk to them. Good casino.

I do not think I have something special negativ to say about this casino. I gave it a 9 stars, not ten only for the reason I still didn't win any serious cash. Hope it is going to change in the near future.

These people got it right... I deposit 5 times and lost. $140 over all. Deposits were easy and bonus terms great. My account was verified prior to any deposits. Fair and honest offering.

Although RTP is random, very hard to get going on here, maybe unlucky but damn... bad long no pay out runs.
Support was not rude but showed nothing worth raving about.

When you withdraw the pending period is 48 hr before it even gets processed which is too slow. Also even though I have been playing at these casinos for a long time they have suddenly stopped me from receiving bonuses including the Sunday free spins which you get if you make a deposit in the the last 14 days, Also you level up so if i was to level up I would not receive any bonus, I think this is disgusting to single people out from receiving bonuses specially people who have put money into this casino and played here a long time it just doesn't seem right or fair so for this reason I closed my account as I no longer trust them.

The only positive aspect of this casino is that players from Canada are accepted and the terms seem pretty simple which isn't the case. I spoke with several different people from customer service and each one did their best to try and help with my issue

After winning I sent in my documents for verification. After 3 days I got a email saying I had to send proof of ownership of my bank card (which I already did) They said my name wasn't ON the card so they can't accept it. I needed to get a CERTIFIED LETTER from my bank saying I am the owner of this card. After getting this document they took 5 more days but by that time I had played my money and lost it. Wasn't a huge amount but still.

I liked that they had clear overview for a VIP table to know what type of service and offers you can get at different levels.

Slow service for verification and pretty poor customer service overall not very warm. Design and layout a bit confusing and outdated

I was allowed to increase my losing limit in an instant. It says on faq that there should be a 7 day time period for that. Of course eventually I lost everything and its my own stupidity but the casino should have some responsibility. Certificate of trust and everything

Hi Tenho84, Any player can use 24 hour “cool off” period or self-exclude instantly. The 7 day period applied only if player want to reduce time of the exclusion. Choice of games is very good and the lay out is good.

Taking nearly 2 days to approve documents in this day and age it should be far quicker and is unnecessary .I am still waiting and response is very bad for customer service .
