My first impressions of Voila! were not too bad really. Graphics were acceptable, animations were acceptable, but the free spins sound track, gees. It simply grabbed hold of me and never let go! I loved it the first time I heard it and still loving it now. A simple melodic French song, about Paris, the city of love. I'm not French, I know only a few words of French, yet I could more or less understand what the singing was all about. Yeah, the scenes of Paris, symbols in the game, made things easier for me. What the sound tracks in Immortal Romance did to many players, but could not do to me, this one lovely French song did. It made me come back for more and more! What the heck, I thought to myself getting caught by a French love song that I don't fully understand. Well, that's the power of love and that's the power of music, they certainly can do wonders!
The first game that I played was simply incredible. The free spins game came often, close to one another, and paid well too. From minimum bets of $0.30, my balance went up to over $100. As I played with bigger bets, it went up even more. The peak was when I got 1 retrigger during the free spins game, for a total of 40 spins, and those 2x, 3x and 4x win multipliers gave some excellent wins for me, pushing my balance up to well over $400 with just $0.90 bets! But as I played some more, at $1.20 bets, greedy me. The game changed course and started eating up my credits. After losing quite a lot of it, I finally got my senses back and withdrew $250 for a good win of $200. Yeah, the win could have been much more, but I became dumbfounded for some moments in time!
Gees, how I wish I could get a few more wins on this game. Then I wouldn't feel so bad and so disappointed. Those multipliers could certainly do wonderful things in the free spins as I had found out, but such good wins can only happen rarely. Otherwise, Voila! could and would have gotten green stars from me instead!
