Good lord! There certainly are a great number of Leprechaun games around, aren't there? Leprechaun here, Leprechaun there, Leprechaun everywhere, and all Leprechauns that I've come across so far have been doing nothing else but eating my money! The only Leprechaun game that brought me some success was a Playtech game entitled Fairy Magic. Yep, I've won 5 Leprechaun Scatters in that game more than 3 times so far, but not one single time from any other Leprechaun games. Not surprising to me actually, because after all these long years of playing slot games, I've found that only Playtech games can pay 5 Scatters and 5 Wilds in a Free Spins game. All other providers games are merely more of hype than truth. Oh yes, there have been some other non-Playtech games that have given me 5 Scatters and 5 Wilds, but all of them paid peanuts for their 5-of-a-kinds. Getting them didn't bring much joy at all, only disbelief in the payout received!
Here's another Leprechaun game that promises a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. The game is aptly named too - Rainbows End. But is there really a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow? Hmm, probably just another marketing hype. Yes, the paytable says that 5 Scatters can be won, but it has never been realised for me, not even once, so such claims make no difference to me, until the day I can actually get those high-paying 5 Scatters. In this Rainbows End game, the Pot of Gold is the Wild symbol, appearing only on reels 2 and 4, expands into a full Wild Reel in winning combinations, substitutes for other symbols except for the Scatter symbol, but doesn't pay for itself. Sheesh! I hate it when any Wild symbol is 'useless' and pays nothing! It doesn't even double any wins with it.
The Leprechaun is the Scatter symbol, 5 of which pays 100x the total bet, and getting 3 or more of them triggers 15 free spins with all wins doubled. More free spins can be retriggered. Fair enough. As for the other symbols in the game, the Clover pays 2000x, the Horseshoe pays 1000x, the Mushrooms pay 500x and the rest pay from 250x to 100x, all ber line bet for 5 of each kind. A low paytable for a 25-paylines game.
Playing this Rainbows End game wasn't good nor interesting enough for me. The Wild symbols disappoint me most of the time! I could hardly get any full Wild Reels from the Wilds, because they tend to appear in non-winning combinations most of the time. When one Wild Reel did appear, either on reel 2 or 4, it hardly paid anything worthwhile at all. In one instance, I had to wait for about 500 spins just to get one miserable paying Free Spins game that paid a blardy low 5x my bet amount! That was totally ridiculous! The other payouts were no better, ranging from 10x to 48x at best.
There wasn't any pot of gold at the end of this Leprechaun's rainbow. There was only a pot of dried leaves, with a few coins hidden between them! What a total disappointment it was for me.
