I believe that the Mugshot Madness is a game that I have completely wasted my time on. I have played this game couple of times hoping to win something. This is a 5 reels videos slot game with 20 pay lines from Microgaming software. The first time I have played the game I had only 20 euros left, so I thought I will try a new slot, a slot that I have not played before.I found this one and I have to say that I have played for a while.

The Detective wild card was appearing quite often as a part of a winning combination so I was getting some good wins. I cannot say huge, but normal. I made a withdrawal of only 30 euros, when I saw that I will not win anything more. The thing is, I did not trigger the bonus round that time. For that reason I had to try this slot again.

The next time I played the Mugshot Madness I did trigger the free spins after a short time of playing and I got only 38.50. It is called the Line up Feature and it does include some interesting features that make the game different from the others. This feature is triggered by 3 or more police badge symbols, and you get 15, 20 or 25 free spins respectively. You need to capture criminals, and once you catch them they turn into a black and white mugshot. Every time you capture a criminal you get a multiplier. The higher value symbols are always more difficult to catch so do not expect to get a higher multiplier. The free spins round is really interesting, but the thing is that the payouts are not that impressive so I cannot say that this is a game that I would choose to play voluntarily again.

"Microgaming" brings the world of organized crime to our screens but this time it does no with mobsters of human aspect, but with a number of animals that embody charismatic criminals similar to those of Chicago from mid-century, this and much more is what we see in "Mugshot Madness", a slot of attractive appearance released by the company in May 2013, where police are always in pursuit of bad guys to take pictures of them to add them to their respective records. In this slot, design it is not only excellent but the background music and sound effects create a pleasant atmosphere suitable for the subject that inspires the game.

Now, we the gamblers appreciate a game with good look, but I think our main motivation for playing a slot is money, and here's where I come in conflict with the idea of continuing to turn the reels of slots like this one, I consider that the hitting average of this 20 paylines slot is somewhat daunting, losses are immediate and the free spins round take long in appearing, at least that's what happened to me personally; fortunately the free spins round of "Mugshot Madness" has a special bonus for each criminal you catch to take it a mugshot and we get this after the character has participated in some formation of 3 or more of a kind, these bonuses relieve some of the burden, awards for the mugshots may be considered decent, the problem is always to get the necessary scatters to trigger this feature, such process is tiresome and that’s no fun.

I think when we turn our reels over and over again and see how our balance deteriorates slowly but systematically while we only expect a miracle, which in this case would be the free round, I think the sense of frustration prevents you from creating a real bond with the game, and even more if your winnings during this hardly triggered round are far of significantly alleviate your losses. In cases like this, I prefer the slot was a little less nice but a bit more generous and it at least gives me an incentive to think that at some point I can win. Respecting other opinions, this game is not much to my liking, I met it today and today I say goodbye to it.

Mugshot Madness is the slot on which all the symbols are of animals. The theme of the game is of the sheriff and criminals in the city. In which wolf is acting as sheriff and rest of the animals as criminals.

The slot has a very different look and the animals are characterized in a humorous manner. It is a 5 reel and 20 play lines slot. I had a good start to the slot I won 60, 50 and 25 coins in the first three spins I made when I was playing at 20 coins per spin. The wild that is the detective Jack Murphy icon doubles the payout when it substitutes any symbol in the slot.

This is a real good feature to earn few coins. The line up feature is the only feature in the slot game. This is a usual free spin bonus feature in other slots with a little add on to it. It is triggered when 3 or more scatter symbols appear on the reels. In this 15, 20, 25 free spins are awarded when 3, 4 or 5 symbols appear on the reels respectively. In this the criminals get captured when there symbol is the part of wining combination. The criminal symbols are replaced by there captured criminal symbols. So different criminal symbol provides different multipliers maximum being of 10 x. A hard to trigger feature and I did not succeeded even once in doing so. It happened twice that the symbols appeared on two successive reels but not in the further reels. Some of my best wins were of 180, 200 coins at a bet of 20 coins. I never even dared to increase the bet looking at the returns.

The slot mediocre game overall and the returns are too not satisfactory. I would rate the slot 6/10.
