Do the bidding of the ancient Greek gods in Mount Olympus, an epic five-reel video slot from Microgaming. Match up legendary symbols and get big cash prizes from Medusa herself. You can play Mount Olympus for free on this page, or go to any of the Microgaming casinos we have listed in our index to play for real money.
Before you start playing Mount Olympus, set up your desired bet. Push the - and + buttons under the coin icon to set your base coin denomination. If you do not want to play all 25 lines, push “Lines” until the desired number is activated. Add coins to each active payline using the “Coins” button. Hit “Spin” to begin playing, or use “Bet Max” to spin with all 25 lines and 10 coins per line.
In the Mount Olympus base game, your objective is to get matching symbols from left-to-right along any of the active paylines. Wild symbols appear in all 5 reels and double any combinations they take part in. Get 3 or more Mount Olympus scatters to trigger the Medusa feature with 5 free spins. Before each spin, Medusa will allow you to choose one of five snakes, which will turn at least one reel completely wild.

Ask any man "who is the most terrifying woman in the world?" and you'd get all sorts of answers. Yeah, some would even answer "my wife", but that's a highly personal story, so never mind about that. Hehehe. The only woman that no man can get face to face, without getting bitten to death, is none other than Medusa. Don't even think about kissing her! If those snakes on her head don't get you first, then Medusa certainly would. But that's all in folklore and myth, but over here, she can only bite your money, nothing else, hahaha.
Medusa games have always been damn hard to win on. I have played Medusa, Medusa II, and now including this Revenge Of Medusa game. Not surprising really, because Medusa is always damn hard to get! Hehehe. All three games have the same special Medusa feature - the Expanding Wild Reels - but in this game, Medusa doesn't appear in the Expanding Wild Reels. Her snakes appear instead, sliding across the reels eerily, so if you're phobic about snakes, then avoid playing this game, or your hairs might fall off your arms and head, hehehe.
Mount Olympus is a high variance game, just like the other Medusa games too, but not as high as the likes of Immortal Romance or Thunderstruck II. Why? SImply because the symbol values are not that high, and the maximum number of Wild Reels possible is only 4 as compared to the 5 Wild Reels of the other two games. But make no mistake though. Even with a slightly lower variance, this game can gobble up your credits in quick time, whilst those Wild Reels during the free spins could literally pay peanuts! Oh yes, I've been bitten by these Wild Reels on a number of occasions already, getting absolutely zero wins, just as I have been bitten by Immortal Romance's Wild Desire Reels too.
Comparatively, it is much easier to trigger the Wild Reels in Mount Olympus than in the other two, because you don't have to wait for the Wild Reels to appear randomly. Each Free Spins game awards 5 free spins, and each free spin gets from 1 up to 4 Wild Reels, determined by the snake that you pick before the start of each free spin. From what I have gotten so far, I could only manage to get 3 Wild Reels once, which paid a poor 84x bet win, whilst those 1 and 2 Wild Reels are easily gotten. Yes, that 4 Wild Reels number does appear occasionally in the other snakes that you didn't pick, but that's what makes this game all the more interesting! "Damn! I should have picked that snake!" Hahaha.
Needless to say, Mount Olympus, The Revenge Of Medusa, is a good and interesting game to play, with good big-win potentials, but it can also be a huge eater of credits, so be warned! Medusa's snakes may not be able to bite you, but Medusa herself certainly can! Hehehe.
