To be honest I never was a big fan of the ancient original Asian card game named Mah Jong and I suppose mainly because of the hardly recognizable symbols so I can’t say I was real satisfied when I tried first time WGS’s Mah Jong Madness slot but on the other hand I thought maybe if it’s all are implanted in a familiar environment I could appreciate it and who knows maybe I was going to like it. Knowing what I can expect from the game visually I really got what I initially expected and though the pictorial possibilities were limited for the creators but I think they did a decent job with it and could present an authentic, well designed product. The graphics are quite simple but good and I like the Asian style decorations at the game button section and basically the entire interface of the game is well playable and solid and it’s absolutely not the creators’ fault that I still confused playing these cards, stones whatever I call them and still dislike that I simple can’t divide visually them and this kind of uncomfortable feeling doesn’t really let me to spend extended period of time with the game at one time.

Perhaps the developer’s aspiration to create a real authentic game took somewhere a wrong turn as this video slot version of the originally very complex game is the simplest gambling product that I played with lately. I think it’s enough to prove my statement if I say the slot doesn’t offer any Wild, free spins, bonus, win multiplier or any other add-ons what could make us possible to gain some extra cash so here we really just get what the regular symbols on the table and their winning combinations forming ability give us. At least the game make it possible for the wins to start from the rightmost reels too so this game is a ‘win-both-ways’ type game and it really needs it big time as we don’t get here anything else.

On the other hand the slot has fantastic game settings and everyone can feel it promptly as the game starts. I don’t mean here necessarily the highest paying 5 of a kind type win which is just 2500 coins but much more it’s valid for the winning tendency the game blessed with. I think I’m not risking too much if I say this is the game which puts wins most frequently on the table and if 2 or 3 spins go by without any wins that’s called a cold streak here. Of course usually they’re not too good rewarding wins –even despite of the working system and the increased chances of ‘both-way’ method – so even lot of simultaneous wins happens per spin but they aren’t able to hand over massive wins but I said again their appearing tendency is really shocking.

There are numerous shortcomings at this slot but one thing is for sure the game seems to be very useful and promising for that purpose if our main goal is to wager concrete amounts with the least possible losses. Even if the game doesn’t make a fan of any version of Mah Jong and I don’t really like the entertainment ability here but at least I’ve found a slot game that is very adequate for the mentioned task and I’m really looking forward for the next chance when I could claim any bonuses where this slot is available to play. Other than that, it can be a reliable partner to those who are already Mah Jong fans and curious enough trying to mix their favourite card game with their gambling passion.
