Shooting Stars is a superb game with a space style from Novomatic. I have tried this game only on one occasion and I have to say that it is pretty okay. The first thing that I have noticed is the beautiful design and the bright animation effects. But the main reason I like this slot is because it offers interesting features.

Shooting Stars is a 5 reels and 10 pay lines video slot game. The highest amount that I have won during my game session was 250 x bet. I had some higher value symbols on couple of active pay lines. There is only one special symbol and one special feature in this game. The blue star symbol is the wild in this game and its main function is to substitute for all the other symbols to help you in landing a winning combination. It does not bring any prizes on its own. The wild symbol is also important because it triggers the main feature the Shooting Star prize feature.

To trigger the main feature you need the wild symbol anywhere on the second, third and fourth reel. The other icons that are on those reels are turned into the same wild symbols. This game is very similar to the popular Starburst video slot game. When I played this slot I could not trigger the free spins round so I do not know the potential of it.

I believe that the Shooting Stars video slot game can bring lots of entertainment while you play the slot. There are some regular payouts during the base game but they do not exceed the 50 x bet amount. I think you can win something higher but once in a blue moon. I think that you need to be extra lucky to trigger the free spins round though. I have to try this game one more time to make my final judgment of this slot.
