Overview of Sakura Fortune Slot

Undoubtedly, Quickspin has produced another winner with Sakura Fortune. The developers of this action-infused game set it against a Japanese garden backdrop complete with dragons, treasure, and a mysterious princess.

The princess represents the Wild symbol of the game. She will appear only on the game's reels two, three, and four. Two full stacks of the Princess Wild trigger the Respin feature.

The golden-yellow fan serves as a Scatter symbol. You trigger the Free Spin feature when you land three or more of these fans. You can gain additional Free Spins if Wild symbols land, as these also function as a Scatter.

Additional symbols like the Emperor, warrior, gold dragon, and jade lion have high payouts of up to 10x for five of a kind.

Sakura Fortune Slots RTP, Volatility and Payout

The Sakura Fortune RTP is 96.58%. It has high volatility, meaning you may not experience frequent wins, but they tend to be more extensive when wins occur.

With 40 bet lines, Sakura Fortune gives you multiple chances to land a decent payout. However, the developer doesn’t state a max win.

The bets on the Sakura Fortune slot range from £0.20 to £100.

Sakura Fortune is a 5 reel slot with 20 paylines that was released by QuickSpin game provider several years ago. I've known this game for a long time and it's been my favorite from Quickspin ever since I can remember. I think that it not only has a great game design but also quite unique game features.

The slot is inspired by Asian theme and the main symbols in this game are different characters you would most likely associate with the theme. I personally really like the graphics and the color scheme is really beautiful. When it comes to the bonus features, they are also interesting and the game play on base game is fun too.

In the base game you're looking for Sakura wilds- they can land on reels 2, 3 and 4- and if you're lucky to get 2 wilds in a single spin, they can expand and give you 2 respins with both wilds staying in place. In my experience, this feature comes up quite frequently, and if you have wilds on reels 2 and 3, you're guaranteed to get wins. It definitely adds an excitement element and also helps to get average base game hits. While I haven't had any win from this feature over 100x bet, it's been a balance saver multiple times, which I also enjoy.

The second feature is a free spins bonus round, which is triggered either with 3 bonus symbols or if you get 2 stacked wilds and one bonus symbol. That's another reason why I like the base game re-spin feature, as it's helped me to trigger the free spins by landing just one bonus symbol. Once you get the free spins, you get 7 free spins and if you land a wild symbol, it will add additional free spin and stay sticky for the remaining free spins. I've had a few times when I've had 2 or all 3 wilds and that's when I've had wins over 200x. However, the bonus is quite a volatile one, and for the most part it pays around 50x bet. But I personally really enjoy the way the bonus works and landing wilds is always exciting to look forward to.

Overall, it's a really nice game from Quickspin and it gives lots of small hits and the re-spin feature comes up often. However, I personally haven't had any wins above 400x bet and it seems that unless you get all stacked wilds with premium symbols, the payouts are quite average. Therefore, I don't think this is a game with very high winning potential.

Sakura Fortune is brought to you by Quickspin and is a 5-reel, 4 rows, 40 pay line slot. It’s available to play on desktop, mobile and tablet devices from $0.20 to $80 per spin. With a Japanese theme, it comes with 3 bonus features including re-spins, free spins and mystery nudges.

Visually, Sakura Fortune is great in terms of graphics and the Japanese song playing in the background sounds great too. I think all Quickspin slots has great graphics and the orange type of feel just give it that colourful theme. You are taken into a world of enchanted blossom trees and golden dragons with a beautiful princess battles evil emperor in order to win untold riches. On the reels include evil emperors, dragons, gold coins and the princess herself.

As for bonus features, look out for the Princess wild symbol as 2 full stacks in the base game triggers the Sakura Fortune Re-spin feature. The number of re-spins you will receive depends on how many wilds triggered the feature. If you get extra wilds, you will earn more re-spins. The feature continues until no more wilds land on the reels. During this re-spin feature you can also trigger the free spins feature since the wilds act as scatters.

The Free Spins feature is played when 3 or more scatters, starting from reel 1, appear from left to right on a spin. Rewarded with 7 free spins, any Princess wild symbol landing during the feature will expand to fully cover the reel. The wild reel then remains locked in place for the duration of the feature and gives you an extra free spin.

This slot has a very cold streak most of the time at least for me, I never win big and have never won big. I think I literally triggered the bonus feature once during normal real play and many times on free play. The pay table is low and the base game pay-out is poor.

Prepare yourself for a flower shower.

To be honest, I am not really a Quickspin fan and the main reason of it is that their games never satisfied me with large winnings. I am pretty sure that winning big is a very important aspect of playing games and if a game doesn't pay well, we simply forget it and moving on. However, Quickspin games lack of it they do pay more often and that compesate it a bit.

Sakura Fortune is latest release of Quickspin, the game has 40 paylines but minimum bet is set to 20 cent per spin. There are a lot of games with this feature, take Warlords : Crystals of Power from NetEnt for example. It has 30 paylines and yet, the minimum bet is 15 cent per spin. This is a great marketing technic to lure players for playing their games, mostly the cheap ones (no offense). If you have played Sakura Fortune then you have noticed that the payouts are on the lower side.

The graphic of this game is top notch, I've seen these kinda graphics at land based casinos. It runs very smoothly, HD quality you might say. I noticed some games run differently at various casinos, at some casinos, games run smoothly and some could lagging a bit but Sakura Fortune is an exception, with other words, you will enjoy this game always of it's the fullest. This is a big point for Quickspin.

The gameplay is great, whenever 2 or more sakura symbol appear on my screen, I always hope for them to light up, fill the reel with them and award me with a re-spin which hopefully end up triggering the bonus feature. I managed to win 4 scatters a few times, you would think, the more scatters the bigger the win but this is really not the case. I actually won twice as big with only 7 free spins.

The best way to play the game is at Casumo. Casumo is the only casino that has saving system on this game. Player will rewarded with Quickspin coin by playing this game and by completing missions. Each completed mission will rewards the player a certain amount of coins and these coins can be exchanged for free spins feature. The more coins you earn the bigger the worth of the free spins. I think it's a very interesting concept but you really need to spin a lot in order to achieve the missions.

Sakura Fortune is an outstanding game if you love great graphics and terrific gameplay...and flower shower.

Like other Quickspin games, the payout is quite low compared with other top notch gaming providers.

Anybody knows what Sakura is? Besides a beautiful Japanese gal I mean, hehehe. Sakura is actually a Japanese name referring to the flowering Cherry Blossom trees. The flowers last for only about 2 weeks in Spring, then they all fall off and are gone until next Spring. Such natural flowering beauty doesn't last long, but are such a beauty to behold, just like the other Sakura, the women kind. Getting one of these 2-legged Sakura would be like getting a fortune, I think! Hahaha. So, if you can't get one of them, then you'd better try and get one of these - it's still a fortune, hehehe.

This game from Quickspin reminds me of another Quickspin game, The Wild Chase. Why? Because that guy in the purple robe looks almost exactly like the guy in The Wild Chase! Hmm, maybe he went over to Japan to get a Sakura for himself, hahaha. Anyway, the game plays with 5 reels and 4 rows, not to my liking, and with 40 paylines. The Princess, that gorgeous Lady in Red, appears only on reels 2, 3 and 4, comes in a full reel size of 4x1, is both the Wild and the Scatter symbol, and substitutes for all symbols. What it doesn't do is to pay for itself or double any wins with it. Oh sheesh! The Fan is the Bonus Scatter symbol, appearing only in the base game, and getting 3 or more of them on adjacent reels trigger 7 free spins without any multiplier. The Free Spins game cannot be retriggered. Argh! The Fan Scatter symbol doesn't pay for itself, the free spins don't have any multiplier, and yet you get only 7 free spins? Oh sheesh! As for the other symbols, the Old Man pays 10x, the Lady pays 5x, the Warrior pays 3x, the Dragon Idol pays 2x, the Jade Idol pays 2x too, and all the others pay from 1.25x to 1x, all per total bet for getting 5 of each kind. This paytable is similar to that of The Wild Chase, an extremely low one!

In the base game, getting any 2 full Princess symbols trigger 2 Respins. Another Respin would be awarded if the third Wild symbol appears. If none, the Respin feature ends. The Free Spins game can also be triggered during this Respin feature. During the free spins, any appearing Wild symbol would expand into a full Wild Reel and trigger one Respin. This Wild Reel becomes sticky and remains for the remaining free spins, but 3 Wild Reels are all that you can get.

What do I dislike about this Sakura Fortune game? Quite a number actually. I don't like the non-paying Wild, Scatter and Bonus symbols, I don't like the no-retriggering of the Free Spins game, I don't like the Wild symbol not doubling any wins with it, and I also don't like the no-multiplier for the free spins. In my session on the game, almost all of the payouts in the base game were under 2x my staked amount, and that sucks big time! The 2 Free Spins games that I got, paid 41x and 0.5x my staked amount, and that was, and still is, a damn blardy low payout! Furthermore, the maximum possible win, as indicated in the paytable, is only 400x the total bet, which I also don't like. One final dislike - the payouts in the base game were mostly very low. A disappointing Sakura Fortune game for me.
