Summary
Mariachi Fiesta is great looking slot with many traditional elements that add up to the theme and the setting. It’s a mobile friendly game with very high volatility and some basic features. Should you decide to join the party with authentic Mexican music, don’t hesitate to let us know what you think of it.
A slot from GameArt and it has Mexican theme with a 5 reel, 3 row and just 10 fixed paylines with a small 0.10 min bet per spin but can be higher depending on what the casino has the limits such as in my case I was having to play at 0.20 per spin.
The slot like most of the good slots ever made has a free spins feature and you always get to start with 12 free spins which can be re-triggered with additional 12 spins for every 3 scatters or more. There is something you should know in that the slot has this expanding wild symbol that appears on only the middle 3 reels and when I played the slot for the first session I had the symbol expand on reels 3 and 4, wish it had also expanding on reel 2 which would have paid a full screen of violins for about 150x bet but instead it paid 20x.
The graphics department with the slot has as one would expect a Mexican theme with all the symbols clearly visible and when you get a win the symbols have an explosive animation of confetti which looks rather good to see. Not seen something like that with other slots and I have seen plenty.
The music is what you would expect with a Mexican theme song such as having a mariachi band playing throughout the session is what you get here. The sound effect of the spin button is quite good and not annoying in any way and the reels stopping has a knocking on door sound effect while the winning sound effect is also good.
Whenever you feel like the session could go fast you can turn on the turbo spin and the option is there to mix up the spins between normal slow and the turbo type not that it helps in triggering a bonus but sometimes I have noticed when you switch speeds or bet sizes the bonus comes in.
I happened to try out the 96.2% RTP version which is something I would recommend with all slots especially with GameArt slots as you need to lower the house edge as much as possible.
The slot lacks an ante bet option or bonus buy option as well as that if you get more than 3 scatters you still only get to start with 12 spins which I think should always give you more spins if you trigger a feature with more than 3.
