I don't recall if the in store machine version had the same "Fortune Spins" system as this on-line version, but I can definitely say I much prefer to play with this feature on than off. Enabling this mode makes the slot function a lot like Playtech's Sunset Beach, three additional reel sets appear on screen and roll in sequence each time you spin the reels. Any wilds that appear on one set are automatically transferred onto the next set which makes much easier to get a large number of wilds onscreen at once by the time you get to the fourth machine. There are no wilds on the reels at all if you don't enable the "fortune spins" mode, so I don't recommend playing this game if your not willing to pay the minimum £2.00 per spin required for the fortune mode.
It's a simple game and I'm pretty bored of the whole "happy lucky leprechauns" theme - it's simply been done to death by now. The paytable isn't fantastic either although the transferring wilds mean it's possible to hit a great many wins on a single spin which definitely goes a long way towards compensating, but I still regard this as being a fairly average game overall. I still like to throw a few spins through it now and again though as tribute to it's timely balance saving intervention all that time ago!
