Easy Rider, to me, is the most beautiful game in HPG's directory to this day. The graphics and animations are all very well presently, and it was a joy for me to play the game. But as they say, beauty is only skin-deep. It may seem like heaven-on-earth, but could actually be a devil in disguise! Whatever do I mean by this? Read on and find out!
Without going into too much details about the paytable and the win values of each symbol, lets just simply say that the game pays out lowly most of the time. At first glance, everything looks exciting and promising, then it sinks into you that the Wilds don't pay for themselves, they don't double the wins, and the worse part is, you may get 3 fully expanded wilds on reels 2, 3 and 4, but pays out not even 100x your total bet most of the time! Just have a good look at the screenshot I've posted up there, then you'll get a better understanding of what I'm saying. That was the best that I could get with those 3 expanded wilds. A few more other instances paid much less than that! Totally disappointing!
The free spins game could have been better designed too. Only 7 free spins are awarded for every activation with 3 scatter symbols (the HPG symbol), which I found insufficient to give out any decent payouts. No doubt that sweet young thing would expand and stick there each time she appears on a reel, but, she doesn't appear too often, very rarely on all three reels, and the high paying symbols hardly ever appear on reel 1 with those expanded wilds! So how to win big?! It was always those lowly symbols that would appear on reel 1 with the expanded wilds, and making my middle finger very active a lot of the times! Hahaha. Ah well, maybe just not my luck with her, who knows.
