General Information About SlotsGem Casino
SlotsGem Casino may have only been around for a year or so, but they have a clear goal - to “burn stereotypes and set the whole iGaming world on fire,” as they claim on their About Us page. Those are some big words, so we’ll see if they ring true in this SlotsGem review.
The casino is owned and operated by LATCAS B.V. They have a gambling license issued by the Curaçao Gaming Control Board, but this information isn’t easy to find on the casino. Not a great first impression when encountering a new online casino.
Aside from that annoyance, SlotsGem player reviews are glowing. The casino holds a very strong 9.1 player rating here at AskGamblers. Players commend the gambling experience and how smooth everything works on this site, an experience I share after reviewing SlotsGem. There are a few complaints about activating bonuses, although it’s nothing a quick chat with customer support can’t fix.
When signing up for an account at SlotsGem Casino, I could choose from a big list of currencies and enter my promo code. I only needed to enter my phone number and email address to create an account, so the sign-up process is really fast.
As a new member, even before depositing any money into my account, I could spin the prize wheel. I won 50 Free Spins to spend on a selection of BGaming slots. I could also pick a 15 Free Spins no-deposit promo. That’s all besides the main welcome offer that matches your deposit 120% up to €600 and grants 125 Free Spins.
The bonuses continue in the Missions menu. It’s standard fare - you complete missions, collect points, level up your account, and then unlock various bonuses and cash offers. This casino doesn’t lack bonuses, that’s for sure.
Payment Information and Options at SlotsGem Casino
Besides accepting a large list of international currencies, SlotsGem is also a crypto-friendly casino. The minimum deposit varies from €5 to €35, depending on the chosen payment method, but for most of them it’s at a fairly standard €10.
Speaking of deposit methods, you can use your debit cards, Apple Pay, e-wallets like Neteller and MiFinity, or wire transfer services like direct bank transfer, Revolut, and Trustly. Prepaid cards and vouchers are also accepted here.
As for cryptocurrencies, the casino accepts all the popular ones - Bitcoin, Ether, Dogecoin, Litecoin, and Tether, to name a few. Do note that your maximum withdrawal changes for each of them, so double-check your limits before depositing.
Debit cards and e-wallets are the best options for withdrawals at SlotsGem Casino, as they have a €10 minimum and are processed fairly quickly. Of course, the fastest withdrawals are with crypto, and you can expect your money in basically no time.
Customer Support at SlotsGem Casino
If you run into an issue or need assistance with any of the casino features, SlotsGem offers 24/7 customer support via live chat and email. They have two email contacts depending on the type of issue. Alternatively, you can use the webform on the Contact page to send a support ticket.
When initiating a live chat session, it’s not possible to skip an AI chatbot right away. It can be a little frustrating, as it kept insisting on verifying my email address. But once I’ve reached a support representative, it was smooth sailing, although they won’t be able to give you any licensing information.
There’s also a pretty decent FAQ section, linked in the footer of the website, not to be confused with another FAQ list that the casino included in their overview. I found the main FAQ to be very informative, as it cleared up some confusion for me regarding bonuses and account closure.
Games at SlotsGem Casino
Opening the games lobby, I was immediately glad to see how well it was designed. Another big surprise came when I opened the list of game providers - 100+ of them, including all the big names in this industry. There are thousands of games at SlotsGem Casino!
The two games that immediately caught my attention were Nitro Nights, an underground racing-themed slot, and Book of Crown, a recent sequel in one of the longest-running series of slot games.
Both games were running buttery smooth on desktop and mobile, and I even scored some neat wins on them. My experience was similar with other games on offer at SlotsGem Casino. No hiccups, bugs, or other technical issues.
Games also have their RTP listed in the corner of their banners when browsing the lobby. It’s also possible to try demos of pretty much every casino game here, as well as bookmark your favourites so you can come back to them quickly.
The casino offers several categories through which you can filter this massive list of games. There is also a live search toolbar, with an option to limit your searches to a specific provider.
SlotsGem Casino’s Commitment to Responsible Gambling
After all these good things about the casino, I finally arrived at their responsible gambling page and was left disappointed. In times when casinos innovate on bankroll and time management tools, the fact that SlotsGem doesn’t offer any of that is rather shocking.
So, what is there? You can request self-exclusion from the casino. That’s it. The casino also automatically closes accounts after three months of inactivity, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to leave this casino or you’re an infrequent gambler.
Players appreciated the wide selection of games, including older slots and a variety of table games, which kept their gaming experience enjoyable. Many also highlighted the fast and reliable payment processes, with instant deposits and quick withdrawals being a significant plus.
