The iGaming and online sports betting cloud hosting supplier, Internet Vikings, continues its expansion in Pennsylvania after closing the deal with the US gaming content provider ODDSworks.
Internet Vikings was already present in Pennsylvania and chose to partner up with ODDSworks to expand that presence further. According to the deal, Internet Vikings should start providing specialised cloud hosting services to its new client later this year.
Why Is This Partnership Important?
ODDSworks is an all-American games provider looking to offer its games across regulated markets in the US while using its remote gaming server. The partnership with Internet Vikings should allow ODDSworks to build up a presence in Pennsylvania and allow players there to access its games.
Rickard Vikström, Founder and CEO of Internet Vikings, expressed the company’s pleasure with the deal and the collaboration his company will have with such an aspiring company as ODDSworks. He added that Pennsylvania was one of the first states to welcome online casinos and sports betting, which led to a fantastic market expansion.
Vikström also noted that the state still has immense potential:
Hence, it was no coincidence that it was imperative to establish our operations there as soon as possible. It is also a very logical choice for B2B games and platform providers such as ODDSworks.
The other side also acknowledges the relevance of this partnership: “It is of great value to us that Internet Vikings offers a reliable total turnkey solution for each new market we enter,” indicated Steven DeMar, Executive Vice President at ODDSworks.
What Is It About Pennsylvania?
Kristoffer Ottosson, COO of Internet Vikings, further emphasised the significance of Pennsylvania operations expansion:
"Pennsylvania is an important pillar for iGaming and online sports betting businesses. We already have multiple clients there and are well familiar with the specifics and complexities of this state. That is why, when the next company is ready to embrace the opportunities provided by this lucrative market, we will be there to support them."
