888bet has announced the news that they are launching their product in Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique and Zambia.
The move is set to unlock significant potential in the African region as they forecast to reach $5.6bn by 2031.
Setting Ambitious Goals
Founded in March 2022, the 888bet joint venture hit its target of regulated market launches in the short time they have been established due to their “ambitious strategy”.
888bet set their sights on expanding across Africa’s regulated betting and gaming markets and reached their targets within half a year.
It’s also reported that they are looking to “capitalise on growing demand and maximise growth opportunities.” The venture has been led by x-CEO of Goat Interactive and former CMO of The Stars Group, Christopher Coyne.
Coyne said they were “delighted to hit their target”, which was an “important milestone that provided fantastic opportunities for future expansion”.

Since it opened its doors, they have focused on customer experience and have 85% coverage of mobile network operators in its markets.
It offers cashouts, jackpots, and free-to-play! The 888casino offers 1500 games, and in Zambia, they feature the entire offering. Future launches are also planned, subject to licensing. The current offering is now available in Swahili, Portuguese, and English.
“t is great to see Christopher and his team successfully launch 888bet in Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique and Zambia and begin 888Africa’s growth story on the continent, said Itai Pazner, CEO of 888.
