This game reminds me of another similar game - Rabbit In The Hat. Both has a magician as the main character in the game, so probably both games were released at about the same time. My first ever play on Simsalabim was about 2 years ago, but I didn't like it that much, so I have not played it again ever since, until very recently, when I wanted to refresh my memory on the game.

Simsalabim does not play like Rabbit In The Hat game, which plays more like the Eggomatic game. The Magician is the Wild symbol, paying a very nice 7500x the line bet for getting 5 of him, but that's about all of it - it doesn't double wins with it and it doesn't expand on the reels either. The good thing is that the Free Spins game can be retriggered. The bad thing is that the Free Spins game is damn blardy hard to get! The Bonus games would come like 20 or more times before 1 Free Spins game would come. This is very disappointing indeed, because all those Bonus games simply pay peanuts, so I would very much prefer getting the Free Spins game instead.
