I don’t want to strictly categorize slot games and also don’t want to be politically incorrect here but I really think this slot is made for only Lady gamblers. I don’t think the game would have a real theme but everywhere on the screen there are little gems, diamonds and jewels while lot of pink colors were used as decoration motives and all women symbols are also wearing lot of nice necklaces, earrings, bracelets (so I wouldn’t be surprised if some of my fellow men would ask the question unawares ‘How much will it cost me?’. Seriously, I find this interface a little bit womanly but I must admit the slot has very decent graphics and even though the used colors are definitely not my favorites but they’re well managed and the mentioned pink decors also works at this game well. Maybe the Lady characters would be a little bit more different from each other because they’re very easily confused on the reels. All in all, one thing is for sure this is not my favorite appearance style but I think it’s a very correct pictorial job and well represents the supposed original idea of the creators.
The best paying line win by one of Lady symbols is worth 5000 times of line bet which is an average top prize but unfortunately the other qualities can’t be considered as ordinary because they’re not so good. My biggest issue at this slot that the main function symbols have very limited qualities for example the Wild only just substitutes for other icons without any win multiplying task or paying ability. This latter can be said about the Scatter too which just triggers Jewelry Paradise bonus game if at least 3 of them become visible on an active payline.
There at first we have select 1 out of 7 Jewel boxes then 4 green boxes then 3 blue boxes to win instant cash prizes. It’s a simple ‘Pick me’ style secondary game so it can’t be real excitement and sadly the average payout of it usually can’t exceed x8-x15 of total bet. Naturally, getting 3 or more Free Spins emblems on the reels mean we’re awarded 5, 10 or 15 free games but they’re just played under the same conditions as the triggering bet had so we really can say about this session that they’re just extra spins without having placed bets. Not using any multiplier value or any other add-on's really limits our success here so this free spin feature can surprise us any big wins or cumulative profits at the end.
Unfortunately, this slot is not from the good ones and I think the developer was truly tight-fisted when assigned features to this slot (though they must have known how demanding some women can be). I don’t see any reason why the developer reduced the qualities of the features and I really think that was a big mistake because without them the game almost became a useless one. I don’t think there would be much potential in this slot and with this specific appearance style I think Gems and the City can be satisfying for just a small group of gamblers.
