Aztec Slots is one game I didn't have a chance to play many times but when it comes to Aztec in the game some feeling always tells me to start playing such a game. I did yesterday.

I am not familiar with GamesOS/CTXM software games but yesterday while playing I had a lot of luck. Believe it or not, yesterday I have played, almost just this single game, for four and a half hours. You can suppose that I got a headache because it is really hard to stay concentrated but except to change my bet, I didn't need to do anything else but to keep my eyes on the screen. I went back into the casino to check something and when I came back, waiting for me was Trail of Supreme. This is the bonus game, when you trigger 3 white pyramid scatter symbols on the active bonus payline you get the bonus game. I wasn't counting but I have gotten maybe 30 and more yesterday. If you pass the first two levels you will get into the Treasure Room where bonus money is waiting for you, as you can see on the screenshot I had 72 euros. I got biggest wins on regular betting, wild and scatters symbols were landing there for me almost after every second spin. Min. bet for this game is a really nice 0.1 as low as 0.09 dollars. Free spins are triggered if 4 scatters symbols appear anywhere on the paylines and I was quite disappointed with free spins, the only thing that wasn't working out for me were these free spins. Wild symbol itself substitutes all other symbols except the scatter and bonus symbols like inmost other games. You can trigger max of 30 free spins in this game, I triggered 15 and less but with small winnings.

I love everything that relates to native Indians so this game is one that brings a lot of pleasure with its mystic Aztec symbols and relaxing music. Honestly, I got tired of getting the bonus games, because except once, there were extremely small payouts in this bonus game. I think my bet was 9 euros when I got this 72 and that is disappointing. From its theme, name, symbols and my very lucky day, it was a true pleasure playing this game. I will play it again,of course.

Aztec Slots would be one of my all-time favourite slots in this platform if the only one aspect would be the appearance. In my opinion, it has an almost perfect design with high quality graphics. At these qualities were always important factor for me to how the game can represent its theme and how realistic the illustrations are. Fortunately, Aztec Slots excels in both areas and I find very attractive how it depicts the richness of the culture of a bygone civilization. The background image is awesome as we can witness when the architecture is combined with art-works and the symbols are beautiful as they introduce some antic Indian relics or symbolic objects, and if I add to these the great accompanying background music and all the little decorations the view has I can safely say visually Aztec Slots can provide me everything that I look for in a slot game so in my book it’s a top-notch interface in every aspects.

It would have been too nice if the game had gotten a game segment with same high qualities but based on my experience it just barely reaches the average level. The Dragon Head symbol acts as the most paying 5 of a kind line owner and pays up to little poor 1500 times of line bet. Generally can be said the symbols payout ability is poor as the assigned multiplier numbers of winning combinations are not too generous. The features have their own limits for example 4 Scatter symbols are needed to trigger free spins but in that case the reward, the number of free games are just 3, which is ridiculous enough (the maximum number of winnable extra games is 30). The Wild figure only just replaces other symbols in a combination and neither Wild nor the Free Spins use multiplier value and they don’t have the capability to reward players with cash prizes.

Perhaps the Trail of Supreme Bonus side game is what I like here the most. Three or more Bonus symbols trigger it where first we have to find the right path in a labyrinth then this same task ahead of us in a single ‘Pick me’ style game to find gems and final we get an entry to Tomb of Treasures to collect Aztec riches. Unfortunately, this side game is also not a rewarding extra but at least have some another great scenes, pictures but however they look nice, it’s not enough to consider it a ‘worth-to-wait’ secondary game.

So this game is a Janus-faced one for me because there is something that I really admire and there is what I consider just acceptable so I think I can’t give here an overall rate, opinion. But I recommend to everyone who loves the very beautiful interfaces with lots of nice elements to play this game and my advice for those who seek for some big money to win, to search further because this slot can’t live up to these expectations.

As the name suggests Aztec is a slot based on Aztec theme powered by GameOS software with 9 pay lines and 5 reels. Now the graphics and sounds are pretty good and the background is just marvelous to say the least with a beautiful white Aztec location. Talking about the returns , i would say this slot is pretty ordinary and the bonus game even less returns then the base game.

When i first played on this slot , i got three scatters on the first spin itself and waited for the free spin round to begin but to my surprise, there were no free spins. I checked the pay table and found that three scatters doesn't give any free spins and even 4 scatters give as less as 3 free spins but 5 scatters gave a massive 30 free spins. But it is quite obvious that 5 scatters are almost impossible as we all know thus 30 free spins are only for the namesake. Further i found 3 scatters occur very frequently and since they don't activate any free spins , they eat up the space for other symbols reducing the payouts from the base game also. But wilds also occur frequently and in large numbers like 3 or even 4 resulting in frequent five of kinds.

I recently won $61 playing at a bet of $1.8 from five of a kind because of wilds. There is also a bonus game which gets activated by getting bonus game symbol (some kind if white tomb ) on an active pay line and since the number of pay lines are only 9 it becomes difficult to activate the same. I have activated it a couple of times and was presented with a 3 step bonus round where i had to find way in each step to reach final treasure of the Aztec king . I have never reached the final treasure but first and second step are simple but the third gets complicated and i have always ended my bonus game there itself. The payouts from this bonus game is terrible and as low as $2.2 or $2.6 on a bet of $1.8 which is even less then the returns from the base game. I only play on this slot because the base game has good returns and i have the curiosity to unlock the treasure for even once.. lol...

So, an overall rating of 6 out of 10 for this slot.

Well to tell you all about „Aztec Slots“ in one sentence: the slot is excellent. This slot, with only 9 paylines from GamesOS casinos (AdamEve & Co.) was the biggest surprise I have had so far here. AdamEve has slots covering all the range from very weak to very good, but this slot, with only 9 paylines as I said, is one of the top. It has all possible qualities. It has primarily a beautiful theme, namely the Aztec masks and Aztec objects of worship. The theme is accompanied by a nice unsuspected graphical aspect, each Aztec object being drawn with the smallest details, having a surprising naturalness and finesse of the detail. The graphics are so beautiful, so that they led me at a certain point in the game to look on Ebay to see if there are Aztec artifacts to buy!

The slot is also very generous. Although it has only 9 paylines, here the wins are amazingly big. I have one rule and that is to play with the minimum bet, but here because the wins are so frequent I indulged myself to rise the bet from 9 cents to 90 cents and still be in profit. I played the slot in GrandWild casino with a 99 Euro bonus, and now after almost 300 spins my total balance is over 210 Euro (maximum was about 275 Euro). Here the Wild symbols, the Bonus game symbols, and the Scatter symbols are equally common. Almost, there is no spin without at least one of them to be present on the reels. The Bonus game is very often triggered (in 100 spins I played 5 times the Bonus game) and is as exciting as the normal spins. One need to open 3 doors in a row by the appropriate choice of the symbols on the doors. The game may stop at the incorrect choice or may continue to the final treasure. In over 10 Bonus games I could never open all the doors but I won at the final each time between 60 cents and 1.2 Euro.

The slot would have been better if it were more generous with the Free Spins number. These Free Spins are awarded only by 4 „Scatter"s (just 2 Free Spins) or by 5 „Scatter"s (30 free spins). As I said, I play this game for about 2 hours now (and over 300 spins) and I have not yet entered the Free Spins round.

But, as I said , the slot is as good or even better than a lot of GamesOS slots and I promise that if you stop here you will have what to admire and even some extra earnings.
