At first glance anyone would think that “Magic of Oz” is one of those slots that we would find inside the portfolio of “WMS - Williams Interactive” since flag-shaped video slots are quite characteristic of this company, and additionally, they also have created multiple slots based on “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” novel, so this might be one more; however, the creator of the current slot is actually the company “GamesOS” and it cannot be denied that this game is an interesting proposal quite different from games normally offered by this company.

To begin with, GamesOS has chosen to go beyond its traditional parameters and has created a flag-shaped slot consisting of 6 reels that start from the left with a reel of 3 vertical squares and increasing one square for each column to the right until finishing with 7 squares on columns 5 and 6.

The slot is provided with 80 pay lines for which you have to pay a bet of 80 credits per spin. The set of symbols consists of 11 regular symbols, 3 bonus symbols that only appear on the first three reels from left to right, and finally, an incredibly active wild symbol that appears on all the reels, but the wild appearing specifically on the reel 1, it has special properties, since in addition to serving as a substitute for standard symbols, this has the task of giving us two respins where every wild on the reels remain frozen in place for these two respins.

“Magic of Oz” slot also features a very interesting free spin round where we first win 1, 2, 3 or 5 picks and then decide whether to use them to get extra free spins or multipliers for our wins. Personally, I have managed to get up to 16 spins with a 9x multiplier here.

So, although fun, this slot has not proven to be a fairly sustainable game, so if you ever get a big win that puts you at an advantage, the best thing you can do is to leave the game immediately because, paying 80 credits per turn, you will be giving every cent back quickly to the machine, or at least that's what happened to me after my round of 16 free games at 9x that finally ended with a total profit equivalent to 45x my total bet, which is not much if you ask me.

In fact, free spin rounds are usually not really extraordinary, I even remember me going out of one of these rounds with a total win of less than 1x my total bet; a rather disappointing result.
