Head Hunter is an African, adventure slot from NuWorks and I have to say it has a very correctly made interface. Even though I can’t see here any special, unique pictorial solutions and the graphics are not superb but the game really has the ability to create a pleasant and even funny atmosphere which is noticeable helped out by the little humorous and cool winning animations. The symbols are aboriginal, adventurer, animals, flowers, maps and all of them truly can create a real unit while very fitting to each other which does good to the overall visual effects. This is a rock solid, appreciable work from NuWorks so I don’t have any issue with this kind of illustration at all.

This slot is a very strange product for me because there are really great features the slot offers but somehow playing the game and seeing these kind of mentioned extras in work I still don’t feel that Head Hunter would be a real great rewarding slot and sadly never felt that I would some really big prizes here.

I’m starting with one of the most important symbol with Wild. This Aboriginal(s) figure replaces others in winning combinations but doesn’t have own paying ability and sadly it just appears only on the third reel but what makes it a very intriguing icon is the fact it can multiply wins from x1 up to x5. This multiplier value is not selected randomly and have more imaginative working scheme as the multiplier depends on how many Aboriginals can be seen on the Wild pictogram. I like this little uncommon solution but I love to see if the Wild would extend its functionality to other reels too.

The top prize of Scatter is quite good as it can award up to 200 times of total bet prize but this Adventurer symbol becomes very interesting when it fulfills its secondary job and activate free spin feature. Every time when 3 or more Adventurer appear anywhere on the reels 7 free games are awarded which can be re-triggered during bonus and this is a very important and practical attribute at this slot. During extra games every single appearing Scatter takes us closer to gain another series of free spins as we have to collect 5 such symbols to re-activate this bonus session. Every new free spin sequence brings increased multiplier number and it can be repeated 5 times (6 if I count the original 7 spins) and at the end the last 7 spins are played with a great and promising x7 multiplier.

It sounds very great and this kind of game rule is really working and once I had luck to witness it when I could go through all of phases till the end. Getting 42 extra games and working with x2-x7 multipliers should be a really memorable session but in my case it wasn’t. I was really excited as I was seeing additional bunch of free spins were coming and coming but sadly the better line wins avoided me and the last 7 spins which would have brought the possible best results just came by without giving any wins. I still could collect around $110 for my $1 bet and perhaps because of my greediness but I couldn’t be really happy about it because I expected more from the session and thought ‘If I don’t win big here then when can I?’

Anyway, maybe it was just a bad run or something like this but the game holds some potential in it and has some other useful features. The slot provides the common Jackpots (Mini, Minor, Major) which are triggered randomly but the game own top prizes are also decent as the best paying symbol (Lion) can award up to 7500 coins if at least one Wild from the best kind is a member of that combination and the game also uses the well-known Feature Guarantee extra which triggers free spins in a special determined spins.

Generally, I think this is a great game and I like to think that my not so remarkable free spin run was the exception and the game has the ability to be more rewarding than that. Anyway, I like this slot and its funny environment and during normal games the winning combinations and the payouts are acceptable and behave as they should but the free spins should be a little bit more open-handed and I get to this conclusion not just because of my mentioned run but I think it must be generally more rewarding. I think I can say at the end that this is a pleasant slot with decent qualities and I like to play here.

Who is the hunter and who is the hunted in this game? I can’t really say. Is the hunter trying to get the Pygmies with his trusty rifle or are they looking for a tasty meal cooked in some big cattle? Anyway these two very interesting main symbols of Head Hunter will take you to an incredible trip deep in the African Jungle. There you will find yourself among lions, crocodiles, rynos, monkeys and off course these little short dudes trying to cook you.

With its wacky animations this game really reminds me of some cartoon I watched as a kid. The sound is pretty good and I can't help to laugh at the hunter getting scarred every time two of these symbols land on the reels. This game has two main features. The free spins bonus and feature guaranteed. I also think that a win- win feature would come in handy with this game.

The wild symbol are the Pygmies and it can have a random multiplier from 1 to 5 depending on how many of these shorties can fit in one symbol. They only appear on reel3 and if the whole bunch is there in the right time you can get some descentwin.

Still the hunter is the main symbol of this game. 3 of these fearless pistoleros anywhere on the reels trigger 7 free spins with an initial x 2 win multiplier. If during those 7 free spins 5 more symbols land on the reels you will get 7 more free spins and the multiplier will increase by 1. This can happen over and over again in total of 5 times.

I tried this game on an initial bet of 1 dollar and managed to re trigger it twice. So I played a total of 21 free spins and won 124 dollars. That’s a nice little win in my book. I was only one hunter symbol away from re triggering it again and than the multiplier would have been x 5 and I would have surely had a 200 x bet win and more. I hope to see that the next time I play this game in some casino.

While on a mission to try out all of the NUWorks game I stumbled upon this game and gave it a shot. A shot that did not hit the target and did not manage to fly for a long time. A little bit more cash was required to prolong my flight but I was not going to lose any more. This is a 50 line game and you would not see many of them on Bedago. Straight away by bet went from 4 coins to 2 coins because of so many lines and my pays went down with it.

Upon first looks the looks pretty cool and has the jungle theme to it. It also has a hunting side to it which I dont agree with and don't care for much. A cruel sport in my view that would only be fair if the animals were trained and given weapons.
There are few things that I found very interesting and unique in this game. First is the wilds and for every pygmy in the picture you get plus 1 x. So if you get a wild with one pygmy in it then its 1 x and if you get a wild with five pygmy's then you get 5 x. Another thing that I liked was the feature and the fact that you have to collect things to unlock more free spins. it is not that unique but compared to a million games that all require to get three or more logos to retrigger it is.

After all of that said, just because I like it does not mean it would pay. After about 40 spins I managed to get the feature and was really counting on it to pay out. My losses were totaling to around $35 and I needed to make more than that. The three hunters gave me 7 free spins and if I got five more hunters in those spins I was going to get 7 more spins. As the last spins landed I only managed to collect 3 hunters and win $6. A very disappointing outcome but I could not give up. I played for another while and when I was down $80 I decided to quit. It gave me nothing and I was gutted.

Overall liked the idea but hated the reality. The pays are small and the feature is impossible to get. My rating 5 out of 10.

Hope you enjoyed my review and have a nice day :)
