Another three months have flown by, and our AskGamblers Casino Complaints Service (AGCCS) team clearly didn't spend them twiddling their thumbs.
The latest AskGamblers Casino Complaints Report for the second quarter of 2026 is here, and the numbers show that more players turned to us for help - with more money recovered in the process.
Between 1 April and 30 June 2026, AGCCS helped players recover approximately $3.4 million across casino, sports betting and affiliate complaints.
Breaking the Numbers Down
The report covers complaints submitted across the international AskGamblers website and our German, Spanish and Portuguese tenants, as well as sports betting and affiliate programme complaints.
Without further ado, here are the main figures.
Complaints for Online Casinos Worldwide
- Recovered money ~ $3,245,900.50
- Received complaints: 3,777
- AGCCS users: 2,829
- Affected casinos: 829
The international casino segment was easily the biggest contributor to the quarter's results, with more than $3.2 million recovered for players.
That's a sizeable jump from the approximately $2.28 million recovered in the same period last year, while the number of resolved complaints also climbed from 862 in Q2 2025 to 935 this time around.
Sports Betting Complaints
Sportsbook complaints continued their upward trend, too:
- Recovered money ~ $75,623.61
- Received complaints: 626
- AGCCS users: 516
- Affected sports betting operators: 127
The number of complaints has grown noticeably since we launched our sports betting complaints service in March 2025. In Q2 2025, we received 503 betting complaints from 405 users. This quarter, those numbers reached 626 complaints and 516 users.
Recovered money was also back on the rise after dropping to around $50,647 in Q1 2026, reaching $75,623.61 in the second quarter.
Complaints in German
- Recovered money ~ $32,403.63
- Received complaints: 151
- AGCCS users: 116
- Affected casinos: 94
The German-language section also recovered more than $32,000 for players during the quarter.
Complaints in Spanish
- Recovered money ~ $19,520.05
- Received complaints: 127
- AGCS users: 105
- Affected casinos: 43
The Spanish tenant recorded its strongest recovery figure across the compared periods, while also reaching its highest number of resolved complaints with 23.
The Portuguese section remained relatively small, with 14 complaints received during the quarter.
Affiliate Programme Complaints
Our affiliate programme complaints also continued to bring players and affiliates to the service:
- Recovered money ~ $24,646.98
- Received complaints: 116
- AGCS users: 75
- Affected affiliates: 58
Recovered money kept climbing: from $18,487 in Q2 2025 to $20,692 in Q1 2026 and $24,646.98 this quarter.
Interestingly, the number of AGCS users engaging with the affiliate programme more than doubled compared with Q2 2025, from 36 to 75.

A Record-Breaking Quarter for AGCCS
Put all the segments together, and the second quarter of 2026 was a particularly busy one for our complaints team.
In total, 4,811 complaints were received, with 1,563 processed and 1,068 successfully resolved.
Across all complaints, AGCS helped recover approximately $3,398,094.77 for players and other affected users.
The service also reached 3,649 AGCS users, while the number of affected casinos, sportsbooks and affiliates climbed to 1,160.
In other words, Q2 2026 came out on top across the main performance indicators, with the highest total recovered amount, number of users, complaints received and resolved complaints among the periods covered by the latest comparison.
And there's one number we're particularly happy to see: 1,068 complaints resolved.
Because behind every one of those numbers is a player, an affiliate or another user who needed someone to step in and help get an issue sorted.
One particularly eye-catching case involved a $2.54 million 1xBet Sportsbook complaint, where a player spent six months dealing with account verification and access issues. Following AGCS mediation, the case was marked as resolved, and the player confirmed they had successfully withdrawn all their funds.
Take a Peek Behind the Numbers
While big recovery figures naturally grab the headlines, every complaint matters to the person who submitted it, whether they're trying to recover a few hundred dollars or hundreds of thousands.
That's why our complaints team approaches each case individually, working with players and operators to find a resolution wherever possible.
