We’re striving to make AskGamblers the best website it can be and there are 2 new updates which make accessing our site and our Forum a lot easier.
We’ve successfully integrated social login and Forum single sing-on (SSO). What does that mean for you as a player?
Read on to find out!
Social Login and How it Works
You can now access our website using Google and Apple social logins, with the buttons placed at the very top, as the primary login methods. You can still login using your email address and typing your password, but using Google and Apple accounts is a lot easier.
We’ve implemented modern UX best practices followed by top-tier global websites, trying to ensure all our players have easy access. In addition, “Remember me” checkbox is removed as that’s handled automatically.
Here’s how it works:
- New users – new members signing up via social login do not need to verify their email (it’s done automatically). If you’re joining, just register on the Complete Profile page, where you can choose or customise your username.
- Existing users – anyone who previously logged in using an email/password combination can now simply use Google login (if you’re using a Google account, of course).
- Mutli-provider linking – the same account can also be linked with an Apple ID (if it shares the same email). It gives you up to 3 login methods for a single account: email/password, Google, and Apple.
Don’t Worry About Forum Logins
Up to this point, you had to log into the Forum separately from our website, but this all changes with the implementation of our Forum single sign-on (SSO).
Once you log into AskGamblers, you can automatically browse our Forum, participate in contests and discussions, as you’ll be automatically logged in there as well.
We wanted to make things easier for all of our players who were perhaps hesitant to join a Forum before. This way, you can jump straight into it without unnecessary extra steps.
Logging out from the Forum or the website will instantly log you out from both.
If you don’t have an account, create one with Google or Apple and head over to our Forum to join the world’s biggest gambling community.
