For AskGamblers Casino Complaint Service, the year doesn't finish on 31 December. It ends mid-March when our dedicated support team breaks down the year behind us and presents us with the latest figures and achievements.
It's that time of the year again: we're proud to give you the AGCCS Report for 2022, showcasing the figures that left us in awe, keeping records from before, and breaking some new ones!
Staying on Top of Your Casino Troubles
According to our latest Report for 2022, our beloved Casino Complaint Service gals and boys have helped 5,918 players recover their funds, reaching a whopping figure of more than 40,000 AskGamblers members who have turned to us for help over the years!
In 2022, as many as 8,494 of our members knocked on our doors to seek damages from 926 online casinos.
Money-wise, AGCCS returned $7,021,991 in the previous year, adding to the incredible sum of over $52 million we returned since the launch of our Casino Complaint Service in 2009.
On average, the returned sum of money per day stood at $19,238.33, which amounted to $135,038.28 per week and $3,342.2 per complaint! That's some serious dough we're talking about!
Fast, Faster, AGCCS
As they worked tirelessly to work out a solution for you, our players, the AGCCS once again showed why players trust them: because they are so darn fast!
According to their stats, the shortest case they had on their hands lasted a mere five minutes and was filed against Stake7 Casino! Unfortunately, not all cases can be resolved as quickly, so they also had more than a couple of long ones: the longest case took an incredible 99 days to resolve and was submitted against Betway Casino.
On average, the case duration stood at 238 hours, which is less than 10 calendar days. All in all, our dedicated support team spent 595.328 hours working on your complaints in 2022.
What You Complained About Most
At AskGamblers, each complaint is processed individually, meaning that a real person considers all available information before resolving it.
In other words: not all complaints we receive are accepted or resolved. In 2022, out of 8,494 received complaints, we accepted 2,862 complaints, while we successfully resolved 2,101 complaints, putting the resolution rate at 73%!
Players turn to AGCCS for help for several reasons: unfairly confiscated money, treatment of our players, or bonus terms and conditions infringement. Let's take a look at the most common issues faced by our players in 2022:
- Payment issues: 2006
- Bonus issues: 53
- Account handling issues: 139
- Software issues: 50
- Deposit issues: 159
- Other: 91
As you can see, payment issues dominate the statistics, with most of you complaining about not receiving their rightfully earned money. Luckily, we're there for you!
Breaking Records Time and Again
By now, you already know that your benefit is our primary concern, so you keep coming back to us for help, and the money returned keeps growing.
But we have more than the money figures to be proud of: last year, we achieved an 18% increase in the ratio of accepted vs received complaints year-over-year; regarding sports betting complaints, which we started receiving in 2021, we notched a resolution rate of 82% and experienced a 70% increase in their total number. Wow!
