I assume most of us when were younger (some much younger like me) wanted to be a very famous singer or rock star. If you still have such an ambition maybe the X-Factor game can compensate you for the wasted time. (I easily can imagine some young teenager practiced in front of a mirror holding microphone like object and imitated her/his favourite performer. Don’t deny it, you were one of them!)
The X-Factor-Steps to stardom (just to say its whole name once) is based the world-wide popular talent competition TV-show with the same name. Personally, I’m not a fan of the slot’s interface. Somehow, I don’t like it too much and I find neither the graphics nor the symbols awesome. Truly, I also can’t use negative marker about none of them, they just seem to me very ordinary, but my first thing to do when sometimes play it to turn off the music. I would have nothing problem with it if the winning sound weren’t so irritating.
The 20-payline slot can be staked from €1-€200 per spin but I can’t quite believe someone would put on such a large amount of money for a single spin on this game. It has 3 extra features. Free spins (can be 5-15 spins) start when 3 or more proper symbols land on a winning line. Though, no plus multiplier value is attached but it has totally different paytable for this stage, where 5 X-Factor emblems give max. x25.000 of line bet. There’s also an extra figure that can’t be seen on the main game, the Star, from which 10 pieces must be collected to get another bonus round. In the Live Final bonus we have to make 3 picks that determines our results of performance, audience reaction and judges’ votes. Of course the 3 selections are converted into cash and multipliers. If Judge Bonus is triggered we go in front of the judges just to hear their final votes, Yes or No. If the first judge place her/his confidence in us, we won x20 of total bet and each additional Yes doubles the winnings or we can choose to stop and collect the won money. Practically, it’s a doubling gambling game.
Formerly, I played it more frequently but I wasn’t very satisfied with the outcome. I staked €1 or €2 but didn’t get any worth mentioning wins. The free spins were absolutely no riches and I never got more than 3 spins so it was impossible to collect the 10 Stars. Once, I had entry to the bonus in two spins right after the other but in both cases the first votes were refusing so I came out with empty pocket. Some weeks ago I decided to play it again but this time was another story. My bet was €2 and when I went to the Judge bonus I thought ‘So be it, I’ll go to the end’ and to my biggest surprise all 4 answers were positive, and it resulted a €320 win. Half an hour later, 4 X-Factor icons gave 10 free spins and in the end of the extras I saw my balance was credited with another €380. I guess it chose to give me back all the arrears of salaries from the past in just one playing session.
What can I say after all of this? I think I’m starting to like and appreciate X-Factor and though I know prettier and enjoyable games, from now it will be frequently tested.
