Western Belles is a very strangely look slot and sometimes I have a feeling while playing this has a western theme mixing with some kind of moderate Playboy subject. The first one is more obvious as there are hats, boots, typical but great Wild West style decorative motives, font styles and supplementary background sound while interestingly the main symbols are lipstick imprint and a little bit undressed, tempting cowgirls whom I suppose make the game more attractive especially for the male gamblers. The graphics are not too high quality but it still serves well the little retro feeling what the illustrating method wants to represent and overall this is not a bad interface for a video slot but here I’m a little bit more conventional and this is the theme what I like to be depicted with traditional symbols and be in classic environment.

The slot is 40-payline product but when we place our bets we can decide to spend more for a spin what the number of lines would dictate as the game offers a unique possibilities for extra money and then we get guaranteed one of the reels are turned into Wild. So if we want to play with all lines with just €0.01 line bet, that’s 0.40 but using this Wild Reel feature for every spin the minimum stake is no less than €2.00 and based on my history with the game I’m sure it would be worth in every situation. During base game I don’t see too many advantage of it because most of the occasions it appears on the last two reels minimizing the possibilities of this feature and when it does its job and substitutes mainly it does that for the less paying combinations but getting an entry to the free spin feature while this feature is active is a different story as during the bonus an additional girl appears and turns another reel into Wild so playing free games with at least six Wilds on the table is much more promising and sometimes relatively profitable but the downside here is the triggered free spins are just 5 games which are not every time enough to do some tricks.

Anyway, the winning combinations have not the best paying ability and we can win just 1000 times of line bet in case of the best 5 of a kind type win and because the Wild hasn’t got win multiplying ability that kind of questionable rewarding ability is not too generous. Using the special features the winnings are more frequently occur though they’re not bringing high amounts to the table but playing the game as a traditional 40-line slot I must say this is a very tight-fisted slot. Sometimes - however stupid this idea is - I still feel as if I’m punished if I don’t play with the extra Wild feature because in the ‘simple’ game mode the wins are coming so hard and even the less rewarding ones so the winning tendency and paying abilities of that kind of base game don’t really meets the minimum requirements what a modern slot should have. I also can’t find the game too interesting and enjoyable despite of the interesting appearance and the unique feature option and from time to time my sessions here were getting more and more boring and when this happens it’s obviously not a good sign and definitely not a favourable recognizance of a good quality videos slot. That’s why I think that Western Belles doesn’t fall into this category and for me it’s just another gambling product on the market which can’t really impress me and can’t make me a frequently returning player.
