“The Buzz Slots” is a video slot manufactured by “Games Warehouse” that currently runs on the platform of its partner “OpenBet Games.”

The theme of the game has been designed to appeal primarily to 80's rock lovers; in its symbols they appear logos of some sub-genres of this type of music such as grunge, ska, and punk; in any case, if you like this music you will have to resign yourself whit the logos and a single ska track that sounds like background music.

Anyway, ultimately what matters most to us in a video slot is its ability to put money in our pocket, and music can be relegated to second place.

In this regard, we can say that Games Warehouse has been concerned with including three special features that handle some potential to create winners; although perhaps not big winners from my point of view.

The first feature is “Reel Jam” and occurs during the main game; it consists of an unlimited number of re-spins leaving sticky the regular symbols involved in some combination waiting for new matching symbols to appear and form longer and more robust lines; it is a feature basically identical to the one used by NetEnt in the two versions of its “Jack Hammer” slot.

Another feature is “Multiplier Wheel” which is a wheel of fortune in the manner of a vinyl disc in which they are raffled instant prizes of 2x, 3x, 5x and 10x your total bet. This is a feature that occurs with an acceptable frequency, but rarely awards a prize of 5x or higher as I observed today.

The last one is an unlimited round of free spins that ends suddenly when it arises the symbol depicted with the ticket that says “Show Canceled” and of which I only have a bittersweet memory.

A single memory because only once I could get the 3 wild-scatter symbols needed to trigger this feature; bittersweet because I was able to win 12x my total bet only during the first free spin, with such a bad luck that in that same spin it came a ticket symbol that immediately terminated my round, and finally I had to resign myself with that prize of 12x that rather looked like a consolation prize that took place after a long series of spins with poor payouts.

After this last event, I realized that “The Buzz Slots” would not allow me to recover my losses, so it was best to terminate my session too.

In short, I think this slot is equipped with interesting features, but they are usually performed in the most wretched way possible; which for me is a good reason to overlook this game every time I see it in one of my favorite casinos.
