Temple cats is a game I discovered somewhat in February. I have to say a big thank you to my fellow askgamblers because only after seeing a few spectacular winning screenshots here on askgamblers, I decided to try the game myself. Lately I have been playing more Endorphina games and have been very pleased.

The theme of this game is ancient Egypt with cats and Cleopatra looking goddess. The design is simplistic yet it looks really rich and I couldn’t want more from it, everything is very tasteful. The game itself is quite simplistic as there is 5 reels and 10 pay lines and only one bonus feature which is free spins round. But be sure that this game will be more than just exciting.

So in this game there are letter symbols, cats and goddess and few other symbols that perfectly fit the theme. The scatter symbols stand out with their bright colors and when you get 3 or more of them, it triggers 10 free games. However, not only that but also scatters work as wilds so they come in quite handy in the gameplay.

I have to say one thing that the game itself can be very dry and I wouldn’t recommend to play it with high bets if your balance isn’t very high. I literally play it with only 10 cent bets and whenever I have bet more than that, I have ran out of money in a speed of light. The reason why this game has become one of my top slots at the moment is its’ wonderful bonus round. Very similar feature was at Scrolls of Adventure which is a game I discovered earlier. So for Temple cats, when you get 3 or more scatters, 10 free spins are triggered and one of the game symbols is chosen and whenever 2 or 3 of them appear (depending on their payouts- for letter symbols you need 3 symbols on reels), they will expand through the reel. That is definitely the time when you can expect wonderful wins.

In my very first session with this game I had literally two euro balance left and I triggered free spins with the goddess symbol. I had four symbols of goddess on the reels so 4 reels expanded- it was really beautiful and paid me 1000x bet win. And from the bonus round altogether I won 1100x my bet win.

Overall this is a truly amazing game with beautiful design and very high winning potential. I find it very entertaining and there’s nothing I would change as not only it pays a lot in the bonus round, it can also give decent wins on base game.

This is a nice change from seeing the usual 'Book' symbol for the Wild and Scatter. Getting 3 or more of the Wild/Scatter symbols trigger 10 Free Games with a Special Expanding symbol. The Free Games can be retriggered, but only for a few times. The Temple Queen is the highest paying symbol in the game, paying a standard but marvellous 500x the total bet for 5 of her. Get all Temple Queen symbols in the Free Games and win a massive 5000x the total bet amount! All the other symbols have lower values, but start from 200x down to 10x the total bet amount, which are very good indeed. Yep, that makes it a very good paytable.

Needless to say, I enjoyed looking at the superb graphics whilst playing the game, and as luck has it, my first ever play on Temple Cats went quite okay, although I didn't get a win in the end, but I did get a good play time from it. At times, things can be quite unnerving, as the spins could go on and on without paying any single win, but this is actually typical of such a game. When the wins can be huge, expect long dry runs from it too. After all, it is a high variance game, and a very enjoyable one too. In fact, I enjoyed Temple Cats much more than the other similar games, but maybe because the game looks so beautiful to play for long periods of time. Keeps the boredom at bay, visually, whilst those appearing 2 Scatters keep the anxiety going. The only question remains, when will I ever get the climax! Hahaha.

I tried Temple Cats this month. I played it for around 20 minutes, I won some winnings but later I got bored and I changed it. This game offer only one feature which is free spins. With 3 or more scatter symbols you get 10 free spins with one special expanding symbol – which is randomly selected at the start of the free games. The special symbol may expand to cover 3 positions on the reel, so basically you can get full screen of the special symbol.

I had once full screen of special symbol during free games, but not at this game. I got free spins only once here, it was hard to get the feature. At the end I won around x50 bet, which is still quite good. I can say that I liked that game while I was playing, but the payouts during main game were not so good like as I had them into some other Endorphina video slots.

Otherwise I think Temple Cats can provide some good winnings over x200 bet from feature – easily, you just need enough luck to get full screen of special symbol at least on one free spin. I like this kind of feature which has big potential on winnings.

Maybe I will play it more in near future, it is a good game. But for me it is not one of the best from Endorphina software company, I like some others more than this one. So I will rate it with 7 out of 10 possible stars here, at AskGamblers.

The slot has 10 lines and I was pleased for the payouts of 5 coins for “3 of a kind” playing with a bet of 10 cents. Quite often one wins enough, about 20-50 coins, and in several hundred spins one does not lose too big. The maximum extra win that I had was a few hundred coins and the maximum loss was about 1500 coins. What here is really nice is game itself. It is like you are spoiled by these ancient cats and it is a pleasure to watch them. For the 10 cents that you pay you have to watch a good show given by Cleopatra and the other symbols of the old Egypt.

Still something else except a Free Spins round there isn’t here and no matter how spectacular this is (because of that extended symbol) it is yet not enough. And finally an observation common for all Endorphina slots: when playing here at the beginning I did not understand anything from the slot. Only after the spin number 50 I started to really appreciate the game and all its beauty.

These payouts of 5 cents for “3 of a kind” although many, they are still rather small. The values in the paytable are quite enough starting with “4 of a kind, minors” but almost always more than “3 of a kind” are not encountered. The slot is nice but on the overall it is too simple especially in some respects (for example because it has only 10 paylines).
