Royal Xmas 2 is a Christmas-themed slot from Enorphina that works on the mechanism of scatter pays. The slot grid is placed in a 6x5 frame, and every time you land more than 8 symbols of the same kind, it qualifies as a win. Matching any eight symbols removes them and triggers a cascade feature where new symbols are added, and if more connections happen, the symbols removed make way for newer symbols. This goes on until there are no new connections. All your wins are added, and you get your final win. On any spin, you have a chance of landing a multiplier symbol with a value ranging from 2x to 1000x. The minor symbols pay from 8x to 2x on connections of 12 or more symbols.

During the bonus, every time you land a multiplier, it gets collected, and every new multiplier plus the collected multiplier is multiplied to the winnings of that particular spin. Keep in mind that if you land a multiplier without any wins on a spin, then that multiplier is not collected. Landing 3 or more scatters will win you 5 more spins, and you can trigger this feature multiple times. You can buy this feature by paying a price of 99x your base bet too.
I was really excited to play this game, but sadly I have always been disappointed. The base game is lifeless, and you rarely land any multipliers. The bonus game can take from 300 to 400 spins to land, and when it does land, you only get 3 to 4 connections, and the rest of the spins are dead. It’s just a disappointing version of the original scatter pay slot, Gates of Olympus.

Wins in the base game are nonexistent, and most connections are with minor symbols. When you land big multipliers, you win nothing on the spin, and then it goes to waste. Every bonus has the same script where you start with 4 dead spins, then two or 3 hits, and the game dies. Not a single one of my bonuses has ever paid over 150x.
