Yep, it is an extremely high volatile game, yet the win values in its paytable are of the very low kind. So how can any big wins occur in this game? Very simply put, by getting increasing multipliers on each reel during a free spins feature game, by getting many avalanching rounds to award more Wilds onto the reels, and by getting those big multipliers on the reels to really boost up all the wins. I managed to get a nice 504x win in one of the free spins game though, but that was it. Nothing better, only lesser. What I don’t like about this Rock Star Santa game is the extreme difficulty of getting any wins of a simple 100x or higher. The better payouts in the base game are usually under 50x, the Present Box very seldomly award the Free Spins game or the 100x multiplier, and it usually only gives under 25x multiplier wins. Nonetheless, it is an interesting game to play, but the low wins would usually then turn into disappointment sooner or later. More or less typical of Yggdrasil games I would say.

Three scatters only gives you 7 spins but if you gamble them then you increase by 2 spins and then start with 9 or gamble one more to start with 11 but you could lose them all. I did sometimes try to gamble my free spins and did have some wins that way and sometimes lost on my gambles. But most of the time I took the spins that I started with and one time I did gamble twice to start with 11 spins but it didn’t make much difference.

I did play this slot in fun mode as well to test it out with bonus buys and it can pay well but you got to start with the 11 free spins to have the best chance at it.

When it comes to the base game I did get the best base paying 38x but as I said this is all about the feature and you can get to the feature via a box during the base game if you are lucky enough too. That present box can also appear in the free spins feature to increase more spins. I like that about a slot that gives you multiple ways to enter a bonus feature game.

As for the RTP that is with this slot, it plays on 96% and this was the setting that I was able to play it at and it gave me nearly 2000 spins on min bet. I don’t know if there are other settings for this slot but 96% is 96% and that is the setting to play it on.

The average number of spins to get a feature is 309 spins for my gameplay and I did this over the course of nearly 2000 spins. The average feature game paid about 62x. I tell you what one time it took 1193 spins to get the free spins feature. Shocking.
